Because of heavy rainfall, water flow of the upstream of Shangu River has been increased and the place became dangerous. So, prohibitory order has been made for native and foreign travelers from visiting Thanchi for two months. District administrator K M Tarikul Islam informed that this restriction has been imposed on every traveler under the district administration.
