Brief

This waterfall is known as Horinmara Kundo Waterfall (হরিনমারা কুন্ড ঝরনা). The waterfall has a beautiful basin underneath with pristine green water that was slightly colder. The waterfall was dropping directly on that basin. And it doesn’t have any space at the front side (blocked by a small mound). That’s why it is not possible to get a full view of the waterfall from the front (or any places).

Once upon a time, this area was having a lot of wild deers. However, by the grace of our greedy human nature, they have almost been vanished. During that golden era, lot of deers used to come here near the basin to drink water. This basin was always filled with water regardless the season. And the deers used to slack their thirst from here. And we shameless human used to hunt them from here. That’s why the name of the waterfall is Horinmara Kundo Waterfall (হরিনমারা কুন্ড ঝরনা) or Horinkundo Waterfall (হরিনকুন্ড ঝরনা).

Pang Thu Mai Village is a bordering village. It is located in Gowainghat district. This village looks fabulous under the hills of Indian state of Meghalaya. Hatu Bhanga Waterfall is nearby the beautiful Horinmara Kundo Waterfall. It is just a five to ten minutes of slow walking from there. Local says, this waterfall surroundings are too slippery, that’s why it is called Hatu Bhanga Waterfall. It has a noticeable height, but the waterfall only gets full of water during the rain.

Shohosrodhara falls, an another waterfall, located in 2 km walking distance from Suptadhara falls. This falls has almost no water like Suptadhara falls in the dry season. From the flow of the falls, "Suptadhara falls" is created. So it’s certain that if here is no water, you cannot expect any water at other one too.

From the top of the hill, you have to get down using the stairs to reach the bottom of the Shahasradhara falls. It’s easy to get down, but it’s a bit hard to get up. It will cost plenty of your energy. So be prepare for this.

সুপ্তধারা ঝর্ণা থেকে মাত্র ২ কিলোমিটারের হাঁটা দূরত্বে সহস্রধারা ঝর্ণাটি অবস্থিত। সুপ্তধারা ঝর্ণার মত এই ঝর্ণাটিতেও শুষ্ক মৌসুমে পানি থাকে না। এই ঝর্ণাটি সুপ্তধারা ঝর্ণার পানি থেকেই সৃষ্ট। পাহাড়ের উপর থেকে সিঁড়ি দিয়ে আপনাকে সহস্রধারা ঝর্ণার নীচে নামতে হবে। মনে রাখতে হবে ঝর্ণায় নামার কাজটি সহজ হলেও পাহাড়ে ওঠার কাজটি কিন্তু বেশ কঠিন এবং এজন্য আপনাকে প্রচুর শক্তি খরচ করতে হবে।

Patang Jhiri Waterfall is located at Ruma Upazila in Bandarban. Patang Jhiri waterfall is also near to Boga Lake. Patang Jhiri is situated before the way of Boga Lake. When a traveler travels to Boga Lake he should visit Patang Jhiri waterfall. In rainy season it is very difficult to reach at the top of the waterfall but in winter some undaunted traveler climb at the top of the Patang Jhiri Waterfall. Patang Jhiri is not very big waterfall but its structure and surrounding view is really exceptional.

If you are a trekker from Bangladesh, then you are already familiar with the "Jiri Path". Its a walking path where you have to walk through the water streams which are coming from the top of the hill. The water level is very low here. Most of the cases an average of 1 feet or less. But some places from the "Jhiri" are having very deep water level.

There are several areas under the waterfall where the water gathers, and made those a natural bathtub. The main one, where the water dropping directly, having no depth found so far. Many people tried, but couldn't find the depth. The teal colored crystal water from the basin is really something. It will be hard for you to leave the place.

বগা লেকের পূর্বেই পাতাং ঝিরি ঝর্ণা অবস্থিত। বগা লেক দেখতে গেলে আপনার পাতাং ঝিরি ঝর্ণা দেখতে যাওয়া উচিত। বর্ষাকালে এই ঝর্ণার উপরে ওঠা খুবই দুরহ হলেও শীতকালে কোন কোন নির্ভীক পর্যটক পাতাং ঝিরি ঝর্ণার উপরে উঠে থাকে। এই ঝর্ণাটি খুব বড় না হলেও ঝর্ণার গঠন এবং চারপাশের দৃশ্য এক কথায় অদ্বিতীয়।
