There are two cannons of Mughal period in front of the Border Guard Bangladesh office gate at Kurigram. Those cannons were at Panga Zamindar Bari. From there, the two cannons replace here.

Though, the purpose and time of establishment is not known to all; however, it can be discovered if further research is conducted there. It was made using iron, tin and wood. Structure of the building is similar to the Zamindar Mansion of that period. History tells that it was built by Brozendra Kishor Ray Chowdhury (ব্রজেন্দ্র কিশোর রায় চৌধুরী). Now it is being used as Sonali Bank Corporate office of Mymensingh city. Government officers and few of their subordinates are currently living at that mansion. It has around 20 rooms inside. Anyone can visit there at anytime. House of Jogunath Roy is located in Sreenagar Upazila of Munshiganj District. Jogunath Roy was intended to live here even after the Liberation War in 1971, but the social condition did not permit him to stay in his motherland. He was then migrated in India.

The founder of Dewan Bari Jamindaar Bari was Fonivuson Mojumdar. Fonivuson Mojumdar's Father Name was Landlord Radharomon and mother's name as Kusum Kumari Devi who was the second wife of Radharomon. He was born in 1892. This landlord house is a small 2 stores Building. But the main gate of the house is look like as a Mughal Castle - gate. After banned the Real estate practices in 1952 the house was auctioned. Now there have a school and some business center.Located at Deowan Bari road in Rangpur.
