Monipuri Para of Khashpur is located in Srimangal Upazila of Moulvibazar district. Majority of the Monipuri population of the country live in Moulvibazar. Adampur and Madhabpur are their main residence. Their products have great demand in all parts of the country and abroad. If a tourist couldn’t attend to the Ras-Mela or the Monipuri village itself; he/she would find these Monipuri products in local markets of the town. The Monipuri community is also renowned for their dance. Their unique dance reflects their tradition and heritage. If you are visiting this part of the world, you should not miss the chance of watching Monipuri dance.
In 1765, during the rule of Bhagyochandra, Manipur Royal Moirangthem Gobinda led a group of Monipuri who deserted Manipur, India and found a settlement in Kapoor in Srimangal. The Manipuri’s has different lifestyle and culture. You can visit them in this village and watch the Monipuri girls knitting yarns, which include Sarees, Shawls, Dupatta, Bed sheets and Bed covers.
{:}{:bn}খাসপুরের মনিপুরি পাড়া মৌলভীবাজারের শ্রীমঙ্গল উপজেলায় অবস্থিত। এদেশে বসবাসকারি মনিপুরি সম্প্রদায়ের বেশীরভাগ মানুষের আবাস মৌলভীবাজার জেলার আদমপুর এবং মাধবপুরে। মনিপুরিদের তৈরি করা বিভিন্ন জিনিষের দেশে বিদেশে রয়েছে ব্যাপক চাহিদা আর এ কারনেই রাসমেলা অথবা মনিপুরী পল্লীতে না যেতে পারলেও এখানকার দোকানেই আপনি এসব মনিপুরি পণ্য পেয়ে যাবেন। মনিপুরি সম্প্রদায়ের নাচের রয়েছে আলাদা খ্যাতি। এ নাচের মাধ্যমে এই সম্প্রদায়ের ঐতিহ্য প্রতিফলিত হয়। কোন পর্যটক পৃথিবীর এ প্রান্তে আসলে তাঁকে অবশ্যই মনিপুরি নৃত্য দেখার জন্য সর্বাত্মক চেষ্টা করা উচিত।
১৭৬৫ সালে ভাগ্যচন্দ্রের শাসনকালে মইরাংদেম গোবিন্দর নেতৃত্যে একদল মনিপুরি ভারতের মনিপুর থেকে পালিয়ে এসে শ্রীমঙ্গলের কাপুর নামক স্থানে স্থায়ী হয়। মনিপুরিদের রয়েছে ভিন্ন রকমের জীবনযাত্রা এবং সংস্কৃতি। এখানকার গ্রামে এসে আপনি মনিপুরি মহিলাদের হাতে বোনা শাড়ি, শাল, দুপাট্টা, বিছানার চাদর, তৈরি করা প্রত্যক্ষ করতে পারেন।{:}

Modhu Palli is the birth place of famous poet Michael Modhusudan Dutta (মাইকেল মধুসূদন দত্ত). He was born in 25 January 1824. Modhu Palli is situated on the bank of Kapataksha Nad. It is a focal attraction for tourists. A fair named Modhu Mela is held every year on the day of Modhusudan's birthday. This occasion is being celebrated to pay tribute to the famous poet.
Shagordari is the place where Michael Modhusudan was born. In his Villa huge garden and small museum exists. There is work of sculpture on the gate of his house. The Kaoataskho River is close to his residence.

কেশবপুর উপজেলার সাগরদাঁড়ি ইউনিয়নের একটি গ্রামের নাম সাগরদাড়ি যেখানে মহাকবি মাইকেল মধুসুদন দত্ত ১৮২৪ সালের ২৫শে জানুয়ারি জন্মগ্রহন করেন। কপোতক্ষ নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত সাগরদাড়িতে ‘মধুপল্লী’ প্রতিষ্ঠা করা হয়েছে যেখানে প্রতিদিন নানা দেশের পর্যটকেরা এসে থাকেন। প্রতিবছর মধুসুদনের জন্মদিনে এখানে মধু মেলা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে থাকে।
এখানে অবস্থিত মাইকেল মধুসুদন দত্তের বিশাল ভিলায় রয়েছে একটি বড় বাগান, একটি ছোট জাদুঘর এবং কয়েকটি ভবন। ভবনের সামনের ফটকে কবির ভাস্কর্য রয়েছে। এখান থেকে কপোতক্ষ নদী এতোটাই কাছে অবস্থিত যে পাথর ছুড়ে মারলে সেটি নদীতে গিয়ে পরবে। এখানে ঘুরতে আসলে আপনি যশোরের কাছেই হামিদপুর গ্রামে অবস্থিত প্রাচীন ‘সানি মসজিদ’ দেখে যেতে পারেন। মসজিদটি সুলতানি আমলের স্থাপত্যশৈলীতে নির্মাণ করে হয়েছে।

Baniachong Village is an large settlement in Habiganj district about 60 km South-West of Sylhet District. The local people take delight in decorating the village as the largest rural village in Asia, some consider in the world. However, both in area and demographics, the village is so huge that it splits into four union Parishad for local government. At present, Baniachong is one of the most developed villages of Bangladesh. One of the famous place in Baniachong is Sagor Dighi. At Baniachong, the main attraction is the Sagor Dighi because of the huge size of the Dighi; it is called as ‘the Sea’. This is about two kilometers in length and about one kilometer width.
Baniachang Upazila (Habiganj District) with an area of 482.25 km2, is bounded by Sullah and Derai upazilas on the north, Habiganj Sadar and Lakhai Upazilas on the south, Habiganj Sadar and Nabiganj Upazilas on the east, Ajmiriganj, Mithamain and Austagram upazilas on the west. Main rivers are Kushiyara, Kalai and Barak. Notable Beels are Charagaon, Bata, Sonamua, Dhala, Chatal and Chandra Beel.
Baniachang (Town) consists of 7 mouzas. The area of the town is 3.06 km2. It has a population of 21111; male 50.75%, female 49.25%. Literacy rate among the town people is 25.3%. Once the town was the capital of the ancient Loud Kingdom of Sylhet. It has one post house (dak bungalow).

সিলেটের প্রায় ৬০ কিলোমিটার দক্ষিন-পশ্চিমে অবস্থিত একটি অবিশ্বাস্য রকম বিশাল গ্রামের নাম বানিয়াচং। স্থানীয়রা এই গ্রামটিকে এশিয়ার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বড় গ্রাম আবার অনেকে পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বড় গ্রাম হিসেবে আখ্যায়িত করে থাকে। বিশাল আয়তনের কারনে চারটি ইউনিয়নে ভাগ করা এই গ্রামটি বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম উন্নত একটি গ্রাম। এই গ্রামের অন্যতম আকর্ষণীয় স্থান হল বিশালাকার সাগর দীঘি। প্রায় দুই কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ এবং এক কিলোমিটার প্রস্থের এই দিঘীটিকে তার বিশালতার কারনে “সাগর” বলে আখ্যায়িত করা হয়।
বানিয়াচং উপজেলাঃ ৪৮২.২৫ কিলোমিটার আয়তনের এই গ্রামটির উত্তরে সুল্লাহ এবং দিরাই উপজেলা, দক্ষিনে হবিগঞ্জ সদর এবং লাখাই উপজেলা, পূর্বে হবিগঞ্জ সদর এবং নবীগঞ্জ উপজেলা এবং পশ্চিমে আজমিরিগঞ্জ, মিঠামইন ও অষ্টগ্রাম উপজেলা অবস্থিত। এ গ্রামের মূল নদীগুলো হলঃ কুশিয়ারা নদী, কালাই নদী, এবং বোরাক নদী। এখানকার উল্ল্যেখযোগ্য বিলের মধ্যে আছেঃ চারাগাঁও বিল, বাটা বিল, সোনামুয়া বিল, ঢালা বিল, চাতাল বিল এবং চন্দ্র বিল।
বানিয়াচং শহরঃ ৭টি মৌজা নিয়ে গঠিত বানিয়াচং শহরের আয়তন ৩.০৬ কিলোমিটার। এখানকার জনসংখ্যা ২১১১১ জন যার মধ্যে পুরুষ ৫০.৭৫% এবং মহিলা ৪৯.২৫%। বানিয়াচং শহরে স্বাক্ষরতার হার ২৫.৩%। একসময় এই শহরটি প্রাচীন সিলেটের রাজধানী ছিল। এ শহরে একটি ডাক বাংলো আছে।
