[post_content] => Shah Neymat Ullah (Ra) is popular among them who preached Islam in different places of Chapai Nawabganj. He came from a Delhi province named koroniya to preach Islam during the reign of Sultan Shah Suja (Ra). Then he stayed permanently in Shibganj Upazila. After his death in 1080 he was buried in Firozpur of Shibganj Upazila. His mazar is located in Takhana of Shibganj Upazila.

It is one of the historic places in Kahaloo Upazila. 5 Peers used to stay in the same place so it is known as Pachpir. The Mazar is located on a top hill. It is said that during the reign of Akbar this came to be known as Pachpir Mazar. When the Mazar area was being levelled in 1952, 5 graves were being found. It is said by the locals that a person while labelling the Mazar area saw 5 mazar of 5 pirs in night vision.

[post_content] => Nimai Pirer Dargah is interesting as per the actual story behind this. Muslim people believe this as a Mazar (মাজার) of a saint named Nasiruddin Pir (নাসির উদ্দিন পীর). But the Hindu people believe this as their place as his name was Nimai Pir (নিমাই পীর). Whoever the guy was, actually he used to do meditation here hour after hour by sitting in one place. After his death, people started to believe that the guy Nimai Pir (নিমাই পীর) might have achieved some supernatural power and that's why they use to gather here for something that I don't know. A village fair uses to held here during the Joishtho (জৈষ্ঠ), a month from Bengali Calendar which is May/June in English Calendar.
Beside the Mazar(মাজার) a small moribund river is flowing named Tulshigonga (তুলসিগঙ্গা নদী). Very small one that looks like a canal. Also the flow of the river is very poor, can die in any day. You can have explore this river for few minutes during your visit here. Also, there are several old huge rain-trees available around the place.
There is a lower implant of stones besides Patharghata Lilavumi. It is known as the expectation of the Pir. He would sit on a stone inlay before delivering speech. During the month of Chaitra in 1
st Monday there used to be Milad mehfil in the mazar. Few days after the Milad there used to be a carnival where thousands of Hindu-Muslims used to gather. This carnival was known as Patharghatar Mela. A lot of stones are found lying in here. There is a saying that Pir Saheb bought the stones from the river in miraculous ways.

Every year, a ten day long fair is held on Chowgacha, Jessore. The main occasion is the annual "Jolsah" of Baluh Deowan Pir. In this time, people from other villages come to Hajrakhana to take participate in this fair.
Background Story: There is the grave of Baluh Deowan lies in Hajrakhana villege in Chowgacha upozila, Jessore. The exact identity "Baluh Deowan" is still not clear. He was a local religious preacher in the Jessore Area. From different unsupported clues, it is assumed that he was born in Jatrapur village around three to four hundred years ago.
Local Myths about Baluh Deowan: He was a mysterious person and as a result people believe that he had some supernatural powers. One such example of a mythical story surrounding him goes something like this: When he was a teenager, he used to be a cowboy. One day he brought his cattle into a fodder to feed them. Accidentally, the cows ate from someone else's rice field, so to hide them he transformed the cows into birds.
Another story goes that one day he put his leg into the burner but his leg did not burn. After knowing about his supernatural powers people started to come to his place to take medicines from him. Even after his death, people continued to send gifts to his "Dorgah" and nowadays the annual fair is held on last Tuesday of Bengali month "Vadra" (September). For example, this year the fair was held on 15th to 21st September.
People from nearby villages come to trade in this fair during the week. So, people get prepared for the upcoming fair weeks before it is starts.
{:}{:bn}প্রতি বছর ভাদ্র মাসের শেষ মঙ্গলবার পীর বলুহ দেওয়ান (র.)-এর রওজা শরিফকে ঘিরে যশোরের চৌগাছা উপজেলার হাজরাখানা গ্রামে কপোতাক্ষ নদের তীরে এক সপ্তাহব্যাপী মেলা বসে। বলুহ মেলা উপলক্ষে পার্শ্ববর্তী গ্রামাঞ্চলে ব্যস্ততার ধুম পড়ে যায়। মেলার মূল উপলক্ষ হল পীর বলুহ দেওয়ান এর মাযার শরীফ।
বলুহ দেওয়ান আসলে কে ছিলেন সে ব্যাপারে কোন সঠিক তথ্য পাওয়া যায়নি। তিনি সম্ভবত তিনশ’ থেকে চারশ’ বছর আগে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। বয়স্কদের অনুমান, তিনি উপজেলার যাত্রাপুর গ্রামের ছুটি বিশ্বাসের ঘরে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন।
লোকাল মিথ: কথিত আছে, পীর বলুহ দেওয়ান অলৌকিক ক্ষমতার অধিকারী ছিলেন। তার জন্ম থেকে মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত জীবনের প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত ছিল রহস্যজালে ঘেরা। যদিও জন্মকাল সম্পর্কে আজও কোনো সঠিক তথ্য পাওয়া যায়নি।
তাঁর সম্পর্কে স্থানীয়দের মাঝে রয়েছে নানা অলৌকিক কাহিনী। জনশ্রুতি রয়েছে, যখন তাঁর বয়স ১০/১২ বছর তখন বাবার অনুমতি নিয়ে বিদ্যান বিলে গরু চরাতে যান। গরু দিয়ে তে নষ্ট করার অভিযোগে তেমালিক গরু ধরতে গেলে তিনি গরুগুলোকে বক বানিয়ে গাছে বসিয়ে রাখেন।
বাবার মৃত্যুর পর তিনি উপজেলার হাজরাখানা গ্রামে মামার বাড়িতে থেকে অন্যের বাড়ি দিনমজুর খাটতেন। একদিন তিনি সর্ষে মাড়াই করতে মাঠে গিয়ে সর্ষের গাদায় আগুন ধরিয়ে দেন। সংবাদ শুনে গৃহস্থ মাঠে গিয়ে দেখেন, সর্ষের গাদায় আগুন জ্বলছে। তখন গৃহস্থ রাগান্বিত হলে তিনি হেসে বলেন, ‘ছাই উড়িয়ে দেখেন সর্ষে পোড়েনি’।
প্রচলিত আছে, একদিন তাঁর মামি খেজুর রসের চুলায় জ্বাল দিতে বললে তিনি জ্বালানির পরিবর্তে চুলার ভেতর পা ঢুকিয়ে দেন, চুলায় আগুন জ্বলতে থাকে। কিন্তু তাঁর পায়ের কোনো ক্ষতি হয় না।
এমন অনেক অলৌকিক ঘটনার জন্ম দিতে থাকলে দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল থেকে বহু মানুষ তাঁর কাছে আসতে থাকেন। অলৌকিক ঘটনার প্রেক্ষিতে বলুহ দেওয়ান পীর হিসাবে আখ্যা পান। লোকজন জটিল ও কঠিন রোগ থেকে মুক্তি পেতে তাঁর নামে মানত করতে থাকেন।
তাঁর মৃত্যুর পর প্রতি বছর ভাদ্রমাসের শেষ মঙ্গলবার হাজরাখানা গ্রামে অবস্থিত তাঁর রওজা শরিফে গরু, ছাগল, হাঁস, মুরগি, নারকেল ও নগদ টাকাসহ নানা প্রকার জিনিস দিয়ে মানত শোধ করা হয়ে থাকে। কালের পরিক্রমায় বহু বছর ধরে চলে আসছে এই প্রথা।২০১৫ সালের ১৫ থেকে ২১ সেপ্টেম্বর এই মেলাটি বসেছিল।
মেলা শুরু হওয়ার সপ্তাহ খানেক আগে থেকে দেশের বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে ফেরিওয়ালা ও দোকানিরা এসে পসরা সাজায়। যাকে ঘিরে এই মেলা, তার সম্পর্কে হাজারও কিংবদন্তি বিদ্যমান। যা এখনও মানুষের মুখে মুখে প্রকাশ পায়।{:}
