Brief

Chad Gazi Bhuya Mosque, also known as Chad Kha Mosque, is an archaic mosque from the Feni district that was built during 1112 Hijri (Arabic Calendar). According to the inscription at the front door, the mosque was built by someone named Chad Gazi Bhuya. It’s a traditional three domed mosque, domes are in a single row. Center one is larger compared to the others. All the three domes are having a Lotus at the top and two Kolosh (native water pot). This looks delicately beautiful and adds an extraordinary beauty to the mosque.

Apart from the domes, the mosque has 12 minarets over the walls in a symmetric way. Four minarets at the four corners are having similar style and other 8 minarets amid the walls are also having similar style. Eastern side of the wall is having simple terracotta along with the terracotta above the front door.

How to go

It is located in ChagolnaiyaUpazila of Feni district. Follow the direction below to visit this historical mosque:

Take CNG driven auto rickshaw to come at the ChhagolnaiyaUpazila. It will cost 20 TK per person, or 100 TK if you reserve the whole vehicle.
From Chhagolnaiya, take another CNG driven auto rickshaw to come at the Chad Gazi Bazaar it will be 12 TK per person.
From the bazaar, you can have a walk or take a rickshaw to reach near the mosque. The Chad GaziMosjid is around 10-15 minutes of walking distance from the bazaar.

Gutia Mosque is situated in Barisal, also known as Baitul Aman Mosque. The mosque was built 20 km away from Barisal in a place called Ujirpur. It is supposed that, it took 210 million BDT to build this mosque. This mosque is outstanding to look at as the best equipment’s have been used. It is well decorated with lights, frames, and has speakers of BOSE, so the Azan is very melodious. The area is huge with a Madrasa, Eidgah, pond and garden. It has 30 staffs to look after the mosque. This mosque has separate place for women to perform Salah.

Mr. Sharfuddin Ahmed Shantu established this mosque in 16th Dec, 2003. He spent 10 million dollars to build this Gutia Masjid. The designs and decorations used here are taken from Europe, Asia, and Middle East's most famous mosque.

ইউরোপ, এশিয়া এবং মধ্য প্রাচ্যের নামকরা মসজিদগুলোর নকশা অনুকরনের প্রায় ২১ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করে বরিশাল থেকে ২০ কিলোমিটার দূরে উজিরপুরে ১৬ ডিসেম্বর ২০০৩ তারিখে এই মসজিদটি নির্মাণ করেন জনাব শরফুদ্দিন আহমেদ সানটু। নয়নাভিরাম এই মসজিদটিতে ব্যাবহার করা হয়েছে উন্নমানের কাঁচ, ফ্রেম, এবং বোস স্পিকার, যেটির কারনে এই মসজিদের আজান বিশেষভাবে শ্রুতিমধুর হয়েছে। মসজিদটির বিশাল সীমানার মধ্যে আরও আছে মাদ্রাসা, ঈদগাহ, পুকুর এবং বাগান। এই মসজিদটির তত্ত্বাবধানে ৩০ জন কর্মচারী নিয়োজিত আছেন। মহিলাদের নামাজ আদায়ের জন্য আলাদা ব্যাবস্থা রয়েছে মসজিদটিতে।

Belabo Bazar Mosque,a grand mosque constructed with Tk 35 million, was inaugurated on 8th of November 2008. At least 12,000 people can say their prayers at a time at the mosque of 200 feet length and 125 feet width. Renowned industrialist of Narsingdi district Abdul Kadir Mollah carried the whole construction cost of the mosque.

The first founder and land owner of the Moque named 'Alhajj Mahmud Ali Bhuiyan' donated his land for building this Mosque. Who is known as 'Mamdi Bepari'. Later Abdul Kadir Mollah announced his grand donation on a public place in Belabo to build this Mosque as a Mega Structure. Local people feels proud to be the inhabitants of this Upazila. Many people from different direction come to visit this Mosque everyday.

This spot is located in Shibganj Upazila of Chapai Nawabganj district. Tin Gomguj mosque is a special attraction of the Mughal era. There are 3 entrances and 3 mihrabs inside the mosque. The architecture of the mosque is not much artistic. Locals pray in this mosque frequently.

One Dome Singair Mosque was built by Khan Jahan Ali and his followers in 15th-16th century. The mosque has a single square dome. The measure of each side is 39 feet 6 inches. The mosque is made of brick terracotta designs. Its single wide dome is heavily built. In the typical style of the Khan Jahan Ali, the dome topped with a cambered cornice, supported with thick walls.

The Singair Mosque is across the road from the Shait Gumbaz Mosque, Bagherhat on its southeastern side.Singair mosque is part of the mosque town of Bagherhat, built in the 15th and the 16th century by Khan Jahan Ali and his followers. The mosque is located 3 miles west of the Bagherhat town, opposite to the Shait gumbad mosque. The mosque is square, and has a single dome. Each side measures 39 feet 6 inches. The mosque is of red brick construction with terracotta designs. It has a single wide dome which is heavily built. In the typical style of the Khan Jahan Ali, the dome is supported on thick walls and topped with a cambered cornice.

১৫শ এবং ১৬শ শতকে খান জাহান আলী (রঃ) এবং তাঁর অনুসারীরা এই মসজিদটি নির্মাণ করেন। এই মসজিদে বর্গক্ষেত্রাকার একটি গম্বুজ রয়েছে যেটির প্রতিটি বাহুর মাপ ৩৯ ফুট ৬ ইঞ্চি। ইটের তৈরি ও টেরাকোটার নকশা করা এই মসজিদের একমাত্র প্রশস্ত গম্বুজটি মজবুতভাবে নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। খান জাহান আলী (রঃ) এর নিজস্ব শৈলী অনুযায়ী মসজিদের গম্বুজের দেয়াল বেশ পুরু এবং গম্বুজের উপর একটি কার্নিশ রয়েছে।
