Brief

Foy’s Lake Amusement World is a theme park located in the heart of Chittagong, in Foy’s Lake. Amusement World is located in the same complex as Sea World and Foy’s Lake Resorts. The Foy’s Lake theme parks are located in a picturesque setting surrounded by hills, a lake and green forests located in Pahartoli, Chittagong on approximately 320 Acres of land. Chittagong is a major port city of Bangladesh located south of Dhaka with good transport links from the capital. Chittagong is considered by many as the most beautiful district of the country due to its natural beauty comprising of the seaside, hills, rivers, forests and valleys.

Amusement World is a dry park with the usual theme park rides and attractions as well as boat rides on the lake, landscaping, restaurants, concerts with floating stages, scenic walking trails and many other fun activities. It even boasts a resort hotel. We have something for every age and taste. The biggest attraction is the beauty of the lake and its surrounding hills. Our park is right in the middle of it so you can have the fun and thrills as well as the serenity and peacefulness of Foy’s Lake. It also hosts many corporate picnics and other events.

How to go

It is located in Pahartali, Northern part of Chittagong. You can go to the Foy’s lake by Bus, Auto Rickshaw, and Tempu or by other private vehicle. It will take about half an hour from Chittagong city by auto rickshaw.

Mymensingh (ময়মনসিংহ), situated beside the Brahmaputra river was formerly called as Nasirabad. It is a city in Mymensingh District in central region of Bangladesh. This city is clearly marked by the old Brahmaputra river flowing along its north. Shambhuganj (শম্ভুগঞ্জ) is situated on the other side of the Brahmaputra, connected by the Shambhuganj Bridge. From the very beginning of the urbanization of this city, it was enriched with many features that made this city fulfilled. Bepin Park (বিপিন পার্ক) is one of the well known features among those.

Bepin Park (বিপিন পার্ক) is a common place to go around in Mymensingh City, very close to Brahmaputra River. It is a small park near Bara Bazaar area, built as a recreation center for child, youths and age old people. Sitting in the brick benches inside the park an explorer can get the whole view of Brahmaputra river. From the dawn to dusk it is open for all visitors. This park owns so many rides for kids which has made this park unique from others. Besides, it also has sitting arrangement for public.

To enhance the beauty of city, Bepin Park was first Inaugurated by DC M Sayful Islam on 1st January, 1980. Later, its beauty was developed & Inaugurated by the city Mayor Ikramul Haque Titu. A lot of people come here everyday with Child and senior members for wondering around and refreshment.

The park is located at Kamalganj Upazila, Moulvibazar District in the northeastern region of the country. It is located within the 2,740 ha (27.4 km2) West Bhanugach Reserved Forest. Lawachhara was one of the filming sites of the 1956 movie Around the World in 80 Days. Lawachhara National Park covers approximately 1,250 ha (12.5 km2) of semi-evergreen forests of the Tropical and subtropical coniferous forests Biome and mixed deciduous forests of the Tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests Biome. The land was declared a national park by the Bangladesh government on July 7, 1996 under the Wildlife Act of 1974. The terrain of Lawachhara is undulating with scattered 10 to 50 m (33 to 164 ft.) hillocks. Locally known as tila, the hillocks are primarily composed of Upper Tertiary soft sandstone. The park is crossed by numerous sandy-bedded streams (locally known as nallah), one of which is the Lawachhara tributary, from which the park derived its name. The soil of Lawachhara is alluvial brown sandy clay loam to clay loam dating from the Pliocene epoch. Shallow depressions filled with water (Haor wetlands) are also a feature of the region as the low-lying areas are often subject to flooding. The climate of Lawachhara is generally pleasant to warm, averaging at 26.8 °C (80.2 °F) in February to 36.1 °C (97.0 °F) in June. Nazimgarh Wilderness is likely one of the most exclusive tropical resorts located at Lalakhal on the north eastern corner of Bangladesh. Lalakhal is situated on base of Janta Hills of Head State of Mehgalaya. This place consists of exquisite natural beauty for example green water like the color of gemstone, lavish mountains. A person can have a broader view of hills, rivers and forests. It’s a dazzling sight during monsoons.

The experience is unique during monsoons. The place is very calm and quiet. There are a lot of grouped buildings around the resort and it is situated on a blue swimming pool and a wooden deck. The surrounding hills and valleys consists of fruit trees and flower gardens which is home to many birds.

Arshinagar Park and mini zoo is next to Narsingdi Railway Station. Literally, Situated in the east side of the Railway station which was founded by late M.P. Shamsuddin Ahmed Ishwaque. There is a big banyan tree outside the park and mini zoo. Where people used to take rest after a long walk or a tiring journey. Under the tree there is a nice place of public sitting. Under this banyan tree, Late M.P. used to sit every day and listened people ' Grievances’. And after his death, he was buried under this tree. His graveyard is nicely decorated with shiny tiles.

To the North of this graveyard, Arshinagar park and mini zoo is located, which was built by late M.P. Shamsuddin. The entry ticket will cost 10 BDT. There you can take a look of different kinds of wild animals, birds, parrots and peacocks etc.

There is a pond inside the park which is dispersed in majority area of this spot. On the edge of this pond, there are several brick built sitting places where the visitors can sit and take a look at the natural beauty of this park. There is also a kids' zone inside the park, where the children are entertained by different kinds of riding.

নরসিংদী রেলওয়েস্টেশনের পূর্বদিকে অবস্থিত আরশিনগর উদ্যান এবং মিনিচিড়িয়াখানাটি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন বিএনপির জনপ্রিয়নেতা এবং প্রাক্তন সংসদ সদস্য মরহুম শামসুদ্দিন আহমেদ ইসহাক (শামসু)। এই উদ্যান এবং মিনিচিড়িয়াখানার বাইরে রয়েছে একটি বড় বটগাছ। এই গাছটির নীচে চমৎকার বসার ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে যেখানে ক্লান্ত পরিশ্রান্ত মানুষজন বিশ্রাম নিয়ে থাকে। সংসদ সদস্য থাকাকালীন এই গাছের নীচে মরহুম শামসুদ্দিন আহমেদ ইসহাক প্রতিদিন বসতেন এবং মানুষের দুঃখ কষ্টের খোঁজ খবর নিতেন। মৃত্যুর পর তাকে এই বটগাছের নীচেই দাফন করা হয় এবং তার কবরটি চমৎকার টাইলস দিয়ে আবৃত করে রাখা হয়েছে। আরশিনগর উদ্যান এবং মিনিচিড়িয়াখানাটি তার কবরের উত্তরদিকে অবস্থিত।

এই উদ্যান এবং মিনি চিড়িয়াখানায় প্রবেশ করতে আপনাকে ১০/- টাকা প্রবেশমূল্য দিতে হবে। আপনি এখানকার মিনি চিড়িয়াখানায় বিভিন্ন রকমের পশুপাখির দেখা পাবেন। এই উদ্যানের অভ্যন্তর জুড়ে একটি পুকুর রয়েছে যেটির পাড়ে ইট দিয়ে বাঁধানো বসার ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে। দর্শনার্থীরা এখানে বসে উদ্যানের প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করতে পারেন।

এই উদ্যানে শিশুদের জন্য একটি পৃথক স্থান রয়েছে যেখানে বিভিন্ন রকমের রাইডে চড়ে শিশুরা চমৎকার সময় উপভোগ করতে পারবে।
