Chimbuk Hill is one of the highest hills in Bangladesh is one of the more familiar spots in Bandarban. It is just 26 kilometers away from Bandarban Sadar. Chimbuk hill is approximately 2500 feet high above the sea level. The road is zigzag here. It will be charming to ride in a jeep. While your jeep is moving through the various native villages, their simplicity in human expression will compel you to think about our ancestors struggle to maintain existence. They are as simple as nature.
While looking down from Chimbuk, you will have the feelings of floating over the clouds. In a sunny day, you can see the cloud shades over the hills. The huge horizon of zigzag hills seem like waves of a sea. However, you can go to the nearly situated tribal villages at Chimbuk hill. You can learn the lifestyle of the tribal people. It will be a nice experience of your life if you can do so.

Nilgiri is one of the tallest peaks and a beautiful tourist spot in Bangladesh. It is about 3500 feet high and situated at Thanci Thana. Close to this spot you can see Moro villages. Their colorful culture and life style might be an unexplored experience for you. In rainy season a spectacular scenery is created here, the whole spot is covered with the blanket of clouds. It is a nice place for campfire in rainy season. Most attractive time of the day is the dawn. It is better to stay during 7-18 dates of a lunar month to enjoy the moonlit night. You can also enjoy the artful course of Sangu River. Niligiri is managed by Army brigade of Bandarban.

Tahjingdong is believed to be the tallest mountain of Bangladesh. According to the local tribal language Tahjing means Great & Dong means Hill and thus the name Tahjingdong or Great Hill. The highest peak of this mountain is around 4,300 ft. above sea level. Thousands of tourist gather each year in Ruma Upazila to recompense a stopover of Tahjingdong. There are several different Tribal communities living on the areas surrounding the mountains whose unique cultures and living styles revolve around nature and the simple way of life.
Once upon a time, the journey to Tahjingdong was thought to be a tough and a difficult one to make, but today a lot of tourists take part in this journey for the sake of adventure and its amazing beauty. The scenic beauty of this place is not just restricted to the mountain and is spread far and wide all along the way to Tahjingdong. However, for the duration of the rainy season it’s a real hardship to climb it. Also, particularly in the winter season, lots of tourists endeavor to conquer it on foot as an adventure. At present one, can reach close to the Keokradong by Chander Gari (Jeep) which when translated to English means 'The Moon Car'. The remaining path has to be accomplished on foot. For those having experience in trekking, will find it quite an easy journey to make and for those who do not, it might be a little difficult at first but the surrounding heavenly scenery along with the fresh clean air of the mountain side will certainly make it a truly enjoyable experience that one would not forget easily. And finally, let us not forget the view from the top, standing among the clouds and looking over at the world stretching below you, paradise on earth.

বাংলাদেশের সর্বচ্চ পাহাড়ের নাম তাজিংডং। স্থানীয় ভাষায় তাজিং অর্থ বিশাল এবং ডং অর্থ পাহাড় একত্রে যার অর্থ দাড়ায় বিশাল পাহাড়। সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে প্রায় ৪,৩০০ ফুট উঁচুতে অবস্থিত এই পাহাড়ে হাজার হাজার পর্যটক বেড়াতে এসে থাকেন। এখানে তাজিংডং ছাড়াও রয়েছে বিভিন্ন আদিবাসী সম্প্রদায় যাদের সংস্কৃতি এবং জীবন বৈচিত্র্য প্রকৃতির সাথে সম্পৃক্ত। একসময় তাজিংডং এ পৌঁছানো দুরুহ হলেও বর্তমানে প্রচুর পর্যটক প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য উপভোগের জন্য এখানে এসে থাকেন। শুধু তাজিংডং এ নয় প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য ছড়িয়ে আছে এর আশেপাশেও। বর্ষাকালে এখানকার সৌন্দর্য পুরোপুরি উপভোগ করা যায় না। তবে, শীতকালে অনেক পর্যটক এখানকার সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করতে পায়ে হেঁটে এসে থাকেন। তবে, বর্তমানে চান্দের গাড়িতে করে আপনি তাজিংডং এর কাছাকাছি পৌছাতে পারবেন। তবে, বাকি পথ আপনাকে পায়ে হেঁটে অতিক্রম করতে হবে। শীতকালে এখানে আসলে আপনাকে গরম কাপড় পরিধান করতে হবে। তাজিংডং এ পৌঁছানোর পথে হাঁটার অনন্য অভিজ্ঞতা আপনার মনে থাকবে বহুদিন।

The Batali Hill is the highest hill within the Chittagong Metropolitan area. From the peak of the Batali Hill, one can have a bird’s eye view of the city. A large number of people ascends to the top of the hill to fill their lungs with fresh air and to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the sunset in the Bay of Bengal.
Batali Hill is the highest hill in the city of Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is located near the Tiger Pass crossing, about 1 kilometer from the center of the city, and falls under the Pahartoli Thana.
The hill is about 280 feet high. However, the hill faces threats of erosion and landslides due to illegal hill-cutting activities. In June, 2007, a massive landslide in the area surrounding Batali Hill killed at least 128 people.
Foy's Lake, the largest man-made lake in Chittagong, is situated next to the hill. There is also an Eternal Flame ("Shikha Onirban") commemorating the Bangladesh Liberation War martyrs.
