Brief

This waterfall is known as Horinmara Kundo Waterfall (হরিনমারা কুন্ড ঝরনা). The waterfall has a beautiful basin underneath with pristine green water that was slightly colder. The waterfall was dropping directly on that basin. And it doesn’t have any space at the front side (blocked by a small mound). That’s why it is not possible to get a full view of the waterfall from the front (or any places).

Once upon a time, this area was having a lot of wild deers. However, by the grace of our greedy human nature, they have almost been vanished. During that golden era, lot of deers used to come here near the basin to drink water. This basin was always filled with water regardless the season. And the deers used to slack their thirst from here. And we shameless human used to hunt them from here. That’s why the name of the waterfall is Horinmara Kundo Waterfall (হরিনমারা কুন্ড ঝরনা) or Horinkundo Waterfall (হরিনকুন্ড ঝরনা).

Jadipai Waterfall also known Jadipai Jhorna is one of the widest waterfalls in Bangladesh. Jadipai Waterfall is really nice place to visit. During the rainy season the flow of Jadipai fall becomes powerful. The water of this fall is cool and transparent. Though the path of this area is not smooth but when you reach there you will feel the tranquility one desires.

Jadipai Waterfall is located at deep inside the hilly area of Bandarban. It is the most charming waterfall of Bangladesh. If you want to see the natural beauty of Bangladesh then must visit Jadipai. This waterfall is the Goddess of all waterfall in Bangladesh. It is one of the widest waterfall of Bangladesh. During the rainy season the flow of Jadipai fall becomes robust. The water of this fall is so cool and transparent. Though the path of this area is not smooth but when you will reach there you will feel the full tranquility.

This waterfall is known as Chhoto Darogar Hat Waterfall (ছোট দারোগার হাট ঝরনা), also known as Shohosro Dhara Waterfall-2 (সহস্র ধারা ঝরনা-২) as an irrigation project (the same name) was built using the water from the falls. Shohosro Dhara Waterfall-1 (সহস্র ধারা ঝরনা-১) is located inside the Sitakunda সীতাকুন্ড) Echo Park.

It is very easy village path for trekking and having lot of trees at both sides for the shades. It is around half an hour of walking to reach near a water dam named Shohosro Dhara (সহস্র ধারা) Irrigation Project. It uses to barrier the water from the waterfall.

The waterfall was very near from the irrigation project dam. You may not find the path to visit the top of the waterfall. You may find a view of another waterfall from that road and according to the local people, it may be very tough to access.

It is basically a tall but slim waterfall having very less amount of water during any season. It use to have water in a large amount (but not violent) only during the rainy days. As soon as the rain is gone, the waterfall starts to get less flow of water.

ছোট দারোগার হাট ঝর্ণাটি সহস্র ধারা ঝরনা-২ নামেও পরিচিত। এই ঝর্ণার পানি একটি সেচ প্রকল্পে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। সহস্র ধারা-১ ঝর্ণাটি সীতাকুণ্ড ইকো পার্কের অভ্যন্তরে অবস্থিত।

এই ঝর্ণায় পৌঁছানোর পথে আশেপাশে প্রচুর গাছ থাকায় ছায়ার মধ্যে দিয়ে আপনি সহজেই পায়ে হেঁটে এখানে আসতে পারবেন। সহস্র ধারা সেচ প্রকল্পের বাঁধের কাছে পায়ে হেঁটে পৌছাতে প্রায় আধ ঘণ্টা সময় লাগবে আপনার। ঝর্ণার পানি আটকে রাখতে এই বাঁধটি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।

সেচ প্রকল্পের বাঁধের খুব কাছেই এই ঝর্ণাটি অবস্থিত। তবে, ঝর্ণার উপরে পৌছানো আপনার পক্ষে সম্ভব নাও হতে পারে। তবে এই ঝর্ণার কাছে যাওয়ার পথে আপনার অন্য একটি ঝর্ণার দেখা মিলতে পারে। স্থানীয়দের মতে ঐ ঝর্ণার কাছে পৌঁছানো মোটেও সহজ হবে না।

ছোট দারোগার হাট ঝর্ণাটি মূলত একটি চিকন এবং লম্বা ঝর্ণা। এই ঝর্ণায় কোন মৌসুমেই পানি প্রবাহ খুব একটা দেখা যায় না। শুধুমাত্র বর্ষাকালে এই ঝর্ণার পানির প্রবাহ কিছুটা বেড়ে যায়। তবে, বর্ষাকাল শেষ হওয়া মাত্রই ঝর্ণায় পানির প্রবাহ আবারো কমে যায়।

Shuvolong Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in Rangamati. The only available path to reach at the waterfall is through the lake. People visit there by boat. It is a famous place with the tourists for the waterfall, high hills and the natuarl surrounding it offers. This waterfall is just before the Shubholong Bazar. So that Shuvolong is easily accessible by speed boat or motor boats from Rangamati.

Suptadhara Falls is one of the twp falls in Shitakunda Eco Park. This falls keeps dormant except the Rainy season. If you are there at rainy season, only then, you can enjoy the beauty of the falls with full of water. In the dry season, from the far side of the falls, it will appear that the fall doesn't have any water. But when you move toward the falls, you can see a glimpse of water which is dripping from the top of it.

The beauty of the proximity of the falls is outclass. Small and large block of stones are spread all over. It looks like a kind of white beauty. After enjoying the falls, you can start moving toward the side of the falls for riding the mountain.

সীতাকুণ্ড ইকো পার্কে অবস্থিত দুটি ঝর্ণার একটি হল সুপ্তধারা ঝর্ণা। বর্ষাকাল ছাড়া বছরের বাকি সময় এই ঝর্ণায় পানি থাকে না। তাই শুস্ক মৌসুমে দূর থেকে দেখলে মনে হবে ঝর্ণায় কোন পানি নেই। তবে, ঝর্ণার কাছে গেলে সামান্য কিছু পানি পরতে দেখবেন। যদি বর্ষাকালে এখানে আসেন তবে ঝর্নাটিকে পানিতে পরিপূর্ণ অবস্থায় দেখতে পাবেন এবং ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য পুরোপুরি উপভোগ করতে পারবেন।

ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য এক কথায় অসাধারণ। এখানে বড় এবং ছোট পাথর খণ্ড ছড়ানো ছিটানো অবস্থায় আছে। ঝর্ণা দেখে আপনি পাহাড়ে উঠতে পারেন।
