Brief
Barshijora Eco Park is located in Moulvibazar Sadar, 2 km from the Zila Sadar. This eco park is also an attempt to conserve our precious nature. It is not yet that much developed as other eco parks. When you are in the town and have a little time with nothing to do at all, this might be the place you may make a short visit to.
Barshijora Eco Park was established on 887 acres of reserve forest near Moulvibazar town in 2006. The forest was declared reserve in 1916. Many timber and medicinal plants were planted there later. Two eco-cottages, four picnic spots, two observation towers, security posts, five public toilets and power supply line are there. The Eco Park also has many common species of fauna.
How to go
It is located in Moulvibazar District, 2 km away from Zila Sadar. You can take buses or CNG or other local transport to reach that eco park.
How To Reach: Moulvibazar District
You can reach to Moulvibazar from Dhaka only via bus directly. If you want to travel by train, you need to get off at Sreemangal station. Then you need to take a local bus or CNG to reach Moulvibazar. In case, you would like to fly to Moulvibazar, you have to reach sylhet first, then you can take a direct bus to Moulvibazar.

You will find the above bus operators from Malibag Rail-gate, Razarbag or Sayedabad bus stand. These services are available from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm.
There are four train services from Dhaka to Sylhet. You can ride on these trains and get off at Sreemangal Station to head to Moulvibazar. They are Joyontika, Parabat and Upoban depart at morning, noon and evening. There is a new train named Kalini depart at afternoon from Dhaka. It takes 7-8 hours to reach sylhet. The ticket price to Sreemangal is around 225 for shovon-chair & it gets up to 512 taka for 1st class AC.

Things to do
There is a lake in Eco Park where you can enjoy a pretty good time. There are also lots of birds here. You can start counting the different types of birds. Even you can just loiter around to enjoy the beauty of nature.
Eating Facilities
Nearest restaurants are in Moulvibazar town. Tourists should not have a high expectation to find all the high class food here. However, all reasonably good foods are available to satisfy your hunger.
