Brief

This waterfall is known as Horinmara Kundo Waterfall (হরিনমারা কুন্ড ঝরনা). The waterfall has a beautiful basin underneath with pristine green water that was slightly colder. The waterfall was dropping directly on that basin. And it doesn’t have any space at the front side (blocked by a small mound). That’s why it is not possible to get a full view of the waterfall from the front (or any places).

Once upon a time, this area was having a lot of wild deers. However, by the grace of our greedy human nature, they have almost been vanished. During that golden era, lot of deers used to come here near the basin to drink water. This basin was always filled with water regardless the season. And the deers used to slack their thirst from here. And we shameless human used to hunt them from here. That’s why the name of the waterfall is Horinmara Kundo Waterfall (হরিনমারা কুন্ড ঝরনা) or Horinkundo Waterfall (হরিনকুন্ড ঝরনা).

Khoiyachhora Waterfall is a magnificent waterfall of Chittagong. On this trail there are few more big waterfalls which are amazing. There are also some underground deep caves filled with water and fresh water natural pool. It is notable that if you want to go to first step of the waterfall you will have to climb and the trail is little bit risky.

This waterfall is undoubtedly the biggest waterfall according to the size and structure. Its 9 main steps and other scattered steps prove that this is the unique. There is a hill in Khoiyachhora which lit all the time, even into the rains because of gas.

Sripur is another beautiful tourist spot where you can see the waterfall with great tide falling from the hills. Hum Hum Waterfall is situated in Razkandi reserve forest in Moulvibazar District. It was discovered in 2009. It is actually a place where you can find the real taste of adventure. The height of the fall is about 135-160 feet. It would be the best to travel this place in rainy season to discover the unlimited beauty of the fall. It is a matter of wonder that most of the Bangladeshi people do not even know about the fall. You can go throw bus or train from Dhaka to Sreemangal. You can find some hotels there. The next step is to go kolabagan bosti. For going to kolabagan bosti, you need to hire a jeep.

The most important thing is you need to start your journey early in the morning about 5-6 am. Carrying Knife, torch, dry food, fresh water, saline, glucose, and fast aid is a must for everyone. Now a days, there are a lot of guides available who can help the tourists to reach Hum Hum. Take some bamboo sticks as a support for you to from kolabagan which will really helpful in the whole journey. Since starting to walk through this for about 30 minutes, the tourist will have to get down in a natural fountain (locally called chhara or nala), where the tourist will have to walk through water. The height of this water level will vary from ankle to thigh level time to time.
