Away from panchagar town about 10 miles a big pond is situated at Amarkhana unionis popularly known as Maharajar dighi. With the bank its surface is 800 yard. Local people says that its depth is 40 feet. Its water is clear. It has 10 saghata.It is imagined that Pitthu king dag this lake. It is said that the king attacked by a lower class and suicide with family and wealth by jumping in this lake. Every year Boishakhi fair held at the bank of the river. Many time the presence of the Indian people also seen. Beside the lake there are many green designs of trees which is very dear to all till now.

Mata Sagar is a large tank of Dinajpur. This is near to the "Dinajpur Rajbari". MataSagor is situated at the in Dinajpur town at Raja Rampur village. Once all banks of the water tank was covered with very high hills. Mata Sagor is more attractive than the Sukh Sagor, and they never dry at any season.

Aachranga Dighi has an overall area of 25.5 acres. This Dighi was excavated 120 years ago and it is 100 feet in length and 1070 feet wide. It is said that a guy named Monuvut of Raj dynasty excavated this Dighi. This Dighi was excavated again in 1992. 12 statues were found while digging this Dighi which are preserved in different museums. There are many trees present surrounding the Dighi. The surrounding environment is very pleasant. It is visited my many tourist every year.

আচরাঙ্গা দীঘির সর্বমোট আয়তন ২৫.৫ একর। ১০০ ফুট লম্বা এবং ১০৭০ ফুট প্রশস্ত এই দিঘীটি ১২০ বছর আগে খনন করা হয়। বলা হয় রাজ বংশের মনুভুত নামক এক ব্যাক্তি এই দিঘীটি খনন করেন। ১৯৯২ সালে দিঘীটি পুনঃখনন করা হয়। সেবার খননের সময় ১২টি মূর্তি উদ্ধার করা হয় যেসব বিভিন্ন জাদুঘরে সংরক্ষিত আছে। এই দিঘিকে ঘিরে চারপাশে প্রচুর গাছপালা আছে। দিঘীটির চারপাশের পরিবেশ খুবই মনোরম। প্রতি বছর প্রচুর পর্যটক দিঘীটি দেখতে আসে।

Upendra Sorobor (উপেন্দ্র সরোবর) is a rectangular shaped large pond that is located at the Nagarpur of Tagnail District. In English, the word 'Sorobor' means a lake. It was dug by the famous Zamindar of Nagarpur during 1381 of Bengali calendar, which is around 80 years from now. During that time the villagers needed to go far away from the home to collect water (for drinking and household works). To ease their water crisis, the generous Zamindar took initiative to dig this large water tank.

This large pond has in total 12 ghats for taking baths. The Western side's one is the biggest one and it has a false gate on there. It also has a medium sized Banyan tree on there. Lot of local visitors use to gather here during the afternoon and they use to sit under that tree.
