Dasbari Mosque is located close to Ompur in between Sona mosque and Kotowali Dorja. Generations of local people say it as Dasbari. It is an abandoned place now. According to an inscription in 1497 during the reign of Sultan Shamsuddin Yousuf this mosque was built.
No explanations are found regarding how this mosque was named. It is modeled after the Chamchika mosque in India. Like Dasbari this mosque is built with terracotta bricks. Its circumference is so thick that during the month of Chaitra when it is so hot outside but it remains cool inside. The main dome here looks pretty attractive. North to the mosque there is a Dighi whose volume is 60 bigha.

Kismat-Maria Mosque (কিসমত-মারিয়া মসজিদ) is the academic name, where local people knows this as Durgapur mosque (দুর্গাপুর মসজিদ). The mosque is located at the Maria (মারিয়া) village, adjacent to village Kismat (কিসমত), that's why it is called Kismat-Maria Masjid.
It is totally unknown about any sort of historical information. No inscription available at the doorway or anywhere. Even the government doesn't have any document or info regarding this. To add insult to the injury, the local people cannot remember anything about this mosque either. It’s a total mystery.
It is certain that the mosque was built several hundred years back. It is having three domes at the top. Four ornate pillars at the four sides of the mosque. Eastern side of the mosque is having three entrances. The mosque is built over a 2-3 feet of high base. The domes of the mosque is similar to the Kartalab Khan's Mosque at Old Dhaka.
The mosque has a small house type of building at the southern side. This is another great archaeological object from our Bangladesh.

During the regime of Sultan Hussain Shah, Choto Sona Mosque was built from 1493-1519. The 50 domes of the mosque were adorned with precious elements; so it was named as Choto Sona Mosque. It is perpetuated by the Department of Archeology and Museums, Government of Bangladesh. The adorned precious elements which were responsible for giving this name, are nonexistent now. The premise of the mosque is on an overall area of 42 m from east to west and 43.5 m from north to south. The mosque is located 3.5 km from Kotwali gate, 0.5 km to south of Mughal Tankhana complex in the quarter of Firozpur. The photo of this mosque is printed in our 20 taka note.

Name of the mosque is Kutub Shahi Mosque (কুতুব শাহী মসজিদ). This is basically a five dome mosque. One larger dome is at the center, and other four domes are near at the corner of the mosque. This is a rectangular shaped mosque and typical smaller one. That's why all the domes atop are jammed together.
Central dome of the Kutub Shah Mosque (কুতুব শাহী মসজিদ) is slightly semi spherical shaped and the other four domes are the shape of oval (half of the oval). Each of the domes are having upside down like flowering ornate at the top.
There is a doubt available between the scholars regarding the building period of the mosque. Some believe its 16th century and some believe it’s from 17th century. Whatever it is, the mosque was built by a saint named Kutub Shah (কুতুব শাহ), and the name of the mosque is taken after him. His grave is located exactly beside the mosque along with other of his companions (locals’ assumption).
