Brief

Toiduchara is the most beautiful waterfall in Bangladesh. It is also known as Shibchari Jharna. It is the largest waterfall of Khagrachhari, surrounded by green hills. You can enjoy natural beauty of this waterfall and it is an ideal place for photography and trekking. Actually there are two Waterfalls you can see here. It will take 30 minutes of walking distance from 1st waterfall to reach the 2nd one. It has been discovered few years ago.

How To Reach: Khagrachhari District

There are two ways to get in Khagrachari, both by road: Direct from Dhaka via BaroiarHat or from Chittagong. A number of non-stop coach services are available from Dhaka (e.g., Shanti Paribahan, Soudia, S. Alam, Eagle and ShamoliParibahan). Gabtoli, Saidabad, Komolapur and Kolabagan are the bus stand name in Dhaka where you can get bus tickets. Bus fare was about 520 Taka (as of 11-May-2014).

From Chittagong you can get non-AC bus services of BRTC and Shanti Paribahan are most convenient with the fare as cheap as to travel to Khagarachari or the other two hill districts (Rangamati and Bandarban). Oxygen-moor is the bus stand name in Chittagong. But there is no bus service will available after 6 pm.

Eating Facilities

As well as you can find some restaurant here to eat. If you stay in Khagrachari then go to System Restaurant. It is the best restaurant in Khagrachari with lowest price. Don’t forget to eat bamboo fry there.

Travel Tips

There are mainly three seasons are noticed at Khagrachari. The dry season (November to March) is cool, sunny and dry. The pre-monsoon season (April and May) is very hot and sunny with occasional shower. And another is the rainy season (June to October) is warm, cloudy and wet.
Make sure you have good physical fitness. Take a 4ft long bamboo stick and a good trekking boot which can grip maximum. You have to cross at least 8 km of waterways. Take plastic bags for your electronic devices. Always keep bandaid and odomos (mosquito repellent cream) with yourself. Take at least two sets of clothes, torchlight, extra socks and drinking water.
You may also visit other tourist spot in Dighinala such as The Jhulonto Bridge, Buddha Bihar, RajaManikkerDighi. Accessible by rickshaw or tom tom.

Jaflong is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Sylhet division. It is about 60 km from Sylhet town and takes two hours drive to reach there. Jaflong is also a scenic spot nearby amidst tea gardens and rare beauty of rolling stones from hills. It is situated besides the river Mari in the lap of Hill Khashia.

জাফলং হল সিলেট বিভাগের একটি হিল স্টেশন এবং অন্যতম আকর্ষণীয় পর্যটন কেন্দ্র। সিলেট শহর থেকে ৬০ কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত এই পর্যটন কেন্দ্রে সড়কপথে পৌছাতে প্রায় দুই ঘণ্টা সময় লাগে। পাথর সংগ্রহ করা এবং আদিবাসী খাসিয়া সম্প্রদায়ের বসবাস এই দুটি কারনে জাফলং এর খ্যাতি রয়েছে। চা বাগান এবং পাহাড় থেকে গড়িয়ে আসা পাথরের বিরল সৌন্দর্যের দেখা মিলবে এখানে।

Many attractions are for the tourists around Cox's Bazar. You can go Himchhari to see its Waterfall, this is famous for waterfall, though in the winter season it dwindles but during the rainy season it's really a fabulous and full waterfall can be enjoyed.

Himchhari is a beautiful picnic spot surrounded by palm trees and bamboos. Himchhari is transformed into a colorful and fascinating panorama when the winter sun rises above hilltops and sets in the blue sea. It is only eight miles away from Cox’s Bazar town. A trip by jeep to Himchhari along the sea-beach at dawn is a rewarding experience. These charms attract the holiday makers to visit this picnic spot in large number.

Himchhari is just around 5 kilometers apart from the main town. You can reach at that place by any kind of vehicles. To enter the area, you'll need to buy tickets. Which is around 20 taka. There is only two place that you can enjoy at the park, one is the falls, and another one is the top of the hill.

In Bangladesh, most of the people used to visit Porikunda Waterfall during the dry season, and they found this is of much interesting place for visiting. Few people know about Porikunda Waterfall. However, those who already have visited the Madhabkunda waterfall and still do not know that there is another waterfall inside the "Madhabkunda Echo Park". Porikunda falls is just before the Madhabkunda falls.

However, it is inside in the Eco Park towards the Madhabkunda falls, which is why people do not get it. During dry season, this falls used to keep dormant which can be another reason and it is only alive during Monsoon. Although the height is around 150 meter, Porikunda falls looks much taller because of gradual steepness from bottom to top. The depth of water is not that much great, but it used to spread its water over the stones when falling down.

If you find it difficult to locate the Porikunda falls, just ask someone who works inside the echo park. They will show you the path. You have to walk through the infertile path over the stream of the waterfalls. Also you cannot skip to get your dresses are wet. Finally be careful, because any moment you can get slipped, and get yourself hurt.

Some people think, this waterfall is more beautiful from the main one, the Madhabkunda falls for its silence (except drops of water). People don't used to come there (because they don't know). No chaos from the other tourists (which is available near the Madhabkunda falls). Porikunda falls is much taller, and the amount of water is not that much great, but it used to spread its water over the stones when falling down. And that just gave an outstanding beauty to the waterfalls.

{:}{:bn}পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণা মৌলভীবাজার জেলার বড়লেখা উপজেলায় মাধবকুণ্ড জলপ্রপাতের নিকটে অবস্থিত। যারা ইতিমধ্যেই মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাত দেখতে গিয়েছেন তাদের অনেকেরই জানা নেই যে মাধবকুণ্ড ইকো পার্কের অভ্যন্তরে আরেকটি ঝর্ণা রয়েছে। মাধবকুণ্ড জলপ্রপাতের ঠিক আগেই অবস্থিত পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণাটি তাই অনেকের কাছেই অচেনা। বর্ষাকাল ছাড়া অন্যান্য মৌসুমে এই ঝর্ণাটি শুকিয়ে যায়। পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণা খুঁজে পেতে অসুবিধা হলে পার্কের অভ্যন্তরে কাউকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তারাই আপনাকে পথ চিনিয়ে দেবে। এই ঝর্ণায় পৌছাতে হলে আপনাকে প্রবাহিত পানির ওপর দিয়ে অমসৃণ পথে হাঁটতে হবে তাই এসময় আপনার জামা কাপড় ভিজতে বাধ্য। এছাড়া পিচ্ছিল পথে চলার সময় আপনাকে সাবধানে পা ফেলতে হবে অন্যথায় যেকোন মুহূর্তে পিছলে পড়ে আপনি আঘাত পেতে পারেন। অনেকে মনে করেন যে এখানকার নীরবতার কারনে এই ঝর্ণাটি মাধবকুণ্ডের মূল জলপ্রপাতের চেয়ে বেশি সুন্দর। অজ্ঞতার কারনে এখানে মানুষজন খুব একটা না আশায় এই নীরবতা বজায় থাকে (মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাতটি পর্যটকদের ভিড়ে পরিপূর্ণ থাকে)। প্রায় ১৫০ মিটার উঁচু এই ঝর্ণাটি নীচ থেকে উপরে বেশ খাড়া হওয়ায় এটিকে মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাতের চাইতে উঁচু মনে হয়। এই ঝর্ণায় পানির পরিমান ও গভীরতা কম হলেও পাথরের ওপর পানি পরার পর অনেক দূর পর্যন্ত ছড়িয়ে যায় আর এ কারনেই এই ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য বহুগুন বেড়ে যায়।{:} ) [3] => Array ( [name] => {:en}Shohosrodhara Falls{:}{:bn}সহস্রধারা ঝর্ণা{:} [post_id] => 7011 [post_link] => http://offroadbangladesh.com/places/shohosrodhara-falls/ [thumb_link] => http://offroadbangladesh.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Shohosrodhara-Falls2-240x300.jpg [post_content] => {:en}

Shohosrodhara falls, an another waterfall, located in 2 km walking distance from Suptadhara falls. This falls has almost no water like Suptadhara falls in the dry season. From the flow of the falls, "Suptadhara falls" is created. So it’s certain that if here is no water, you cannot expect any water at other one too.

From the top of the hill, you have to get down using the stairs to reach the bottom of the Shahasradhara falls. It’s easy to get down, but it’s a bit hard to get up. It will cost plenty of your energy. So be prepare for this.
