Alikadam Cave is a wonderful tourist spot in Lama. It is about 1500 feet high from sea level. In good weather, you can have a view of Maheskhali Island, Bay of Bengal, Matamuhuri River and Lama Upazilla at a glance. An attractive tourist spot in that area have been developed by the Parjatan Corporation. There is an observation tower in this spot.

কিভাবে যাবেন
There are several ways to reach at Bandarban. The best available bus service is Saudia, S. Alam, Shyamoly, Unique, Dolphin etc. The cost is around 650 taka per person. It will take around 9-10 hours to reach at the town from Dhaka.
The other options to go to Bandarban includes taking a train to Chittagong or fly to Chittagong or take an air conditioned bus to Chittagong and from there transfer to Bandarban. It is around 2-3 hours’ drive from Chittagong to Bandarban. But I’ll suggest you the direct Dhaka-Bandarban Bus. This will be much easier.
From Bandarban Sadar to Alikodom upazilla it is 70 kilometers distance. So you can go Alikodom Cave tourist spot by jeep/chandergari or private vehicle. Or you can use Dhaka – cox’s bazar route as well.
First you have to reach Chokoria. You can go Chokoria by Bus from Chittagong. From Chokoria one can reserve a Chandergari up to Alikodom or use the local service. From Alikodom Bazar/ Panbibi Bazar you need to start the trek. It would be 1 to 2 hour trek. Most of the trek is easy nature with scenic beauty of river and hills with green field. Last few minutes the trail will pass through difficult terrains and you need to climb few places through tiny crack on the hills.

ঢাকার সাথে বান্দরবানের সরাসরি সড়ক যোগাযোগ রয়েছে। ঢাকা থেকে বাসে করে সরাসরি বান্দরবানে যেতে পারবেন।

ঢাকার সাথে বান্দরবানে আকাশপথে যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা নেই। তবে ঢাকা থেকে চট্রগ্রামে আকাশপথে গিয়ে সেখান থেকে বাস অথবা ব্যাক্তিগত গাড়িতে করে বান্দরবানে যেতে পারবেন।
