Nine Dome Mosque is now a protected monument of the Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh. There are 3 pointed arched openings on the north, south and east sides adjoined within tall rectangular frames. The western wall is relieved with three semicircular mihrabs of which the central one is larger and is projected to the west.
The decorations of the multi-cusped mihrabs contains terracotta floral, scroll and foliage patterns within rectangular panels. Each Mihrabs center is decorated with chain and bell motif. Apexes of the arches have diaper designs and large rosettes at the spandrels. Rest three walls are relieved with only two niches in each.
The corner towers are round and are surfaced by eight bands of moldings. The exterior walls are eased with vertical panels. The curved cornice is very prominent.

Nine-Dome Mosque is located on the western bank of the Thakurdighi, less than half a km away to the southwest of the tomb-complex of Khan Jahan. After reaching Bagerhat you may take CNG auto rickshaw or bus and reach there.

প্রতিদিন বিকাল ৫টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৭টা মধ্যে তিনটি লঞ্চ এবং একটি স্টিমার ঢাকার সদরঘাট থেকে পিরোজপুরের হুলারহাটের উদ্দেশ্যে ছেড়ে যায়। হুলারহাটে পৌঁছে আপনাকে বাসে করে অথবা ভাড়া গাড়িতে করে সড়কপথে পিরোজপুর হয়ে বাগেরহাটে পৌছাতে হবে।

বর্তমানে রাজধানী ঢাকার সাথে বাগেরহাটের আকাশপথে যোগাযোগ ব্যবস্থা নেই। তবে, বাগেরহাটে একটি বিমানবন্দর নির্মাণাধীন রয়েছে। সুতরাং, অদুর ভবিষ্যতেই ঢাকা ও বাগেরহাটের মধ্যে আকাশপথে যোগাযোগ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হবে বলে আশা করা যায়।
কোথায় থাকবেন
বাগেরহাটে থাকার জন্য খুব বেশি হোটেল নেই। তবে এখানে রেল রোডে অবস্থিত মমতাজ হোটেলে থাকতে পারেন। এই হোটেলটিতে সুযোগ সুবিধা কম থাকলেও সেবার মান মোটামোটি ভাল এবং খরচও একটু বেশি। এছাড়া এই হোটেলের আশেপাশে থাকার জন্য আরো কিছু হোটেল রয়েছে।
কি করবেন
It has the curvature of the cornice which gives the building a pleasing appearance. We will have to watch the two cornice bands, running all round the building are enriched with rows of lozenges, while the sunken space in between them still depicts ornamental square panels at several places. The corner towers, divided by moulded bands, depict such decorative motifs as lozenges, lotus petals and pellets.
