Varatkhali Kastho Mandir (ভরতখালী কাষ্ঠ মন্দির) is one of the most common Tirthasthan of Hindu community. It was built around two hundred years ago by Ramonikanto Ray Zamindar There is a folktale that a pieces of timber had been found in Ghagot (ঘাঘট) river. Someone had collected the timber and when he hit it with an axe, the timber was bleeding out. That night, Zamindar Ramonikanto had dreamed someone saying, "I have come to your ghat, worship me with Eligible reception" (আমি তোর ঘাটে এসেছি,আমাকে যোগ্য সমাদর করে পূজা কর).
By the next day, the Zamindar ordered a craftsman(কারিগর) to make the timber into a sculpture as a Mandir. At the bottom of the sclupture, a Banian tree had been created. That is why it is called Kastho Mandir. Every year in the month of Boishakh, a beautiful crowded fair is held here.

Maijpara Moth (মাইজপারা মঠ) belongs to 300 years old long history, situated just beside the Babu Bari dighi (large pond). During the reign of Dewan Murshid Kuli Khan, this Moth was being constructed on the grave of Zamindar Tara Prashad Ray Later in Bengali year 1212, this moth was being reconstructed.
Interviewing local folks we came to know that, this 200 feet high moth's apex was being broken by three days long rain few years ago due to the lacking in care of conservation and preservation.
At the apex there were two copper pitcher being torn down lately and a rumor spread that there were some very precious treasure inside of it. Local people gathered to see. Sreenagar Thana police brought those to the police station. After cutting the pitcher with the help of oxygen Gas cutter, they found some sort of limes & brick mortars inside of it.

Poet Chandrabati (চন্দ্রাবতী) is considered to be the first Female poet in Bengali literature. She was born in 1550. Her father's name was Bangshidas Bhattacharya (বংশীদাস ভট্টাচার্য) who is considered as one of the composers of Monosha mongol (মনসা মঙ্গল). She along with her father composed the Monosha Debir Bhashan (মনসা দেবীর ভাসান) during 1575. Poet Chondraboti (কবি চন্দ্রাবতী) started narrating the Ramayana (রামায়ন) from the Sita's (সীতা) point of view by criticizing Rama (রাম). But unfortunately, she couldn't finish her work.
There are two Shib Mandir (শিব মন্দির) available near the village Chandrabati (চন্দ্রাবতী) that is around 6 kilometer apart from the Kishoreganj (কিশোরগঞ্জ) town. One of those are shorter in size. These temples are related with many stories of Chandrabati (চন্দ্রাবতী) and her life. It is believed that the temples were built during the 16th century, contemporary to the poet's birth.
It was around 3:00 at the afternoon when I have reached there. So I was the only traveler or tourist there that time. There are few sitting places available near the temple. Authority built those for the visitors. Probably during the holidays or at afternoon lot of visitors use to gather here.
