Ishwar Chandra High School (ঈশ্বর চন্দ্র উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is situated at Saturia Upazila of Manikganj District, very near to the Baliati Palace. This school was named after Ishwar Chandra Ray Chowdhury, one of the famous Zamindars in Baliati. According to the locals, this school was found by Horendra Kumar Ray in the year 1915-1916. From the history, it can be said that Horendra Kumar Ray was the Son of Ishwar Chandra Ray Chowdhury. Once, this school was named as Ishwar Chandra English High School, but in later time, the name has been changed.
It is said that Horendra Kumar Ray Chowdhury spent around fifty thousands taka at that time to build this ornamented & large school building. which was certainly a big amount to pay at that contemporary time. In recent time, this school has been conducted by a committee consisting of local people.

St Francis Xavier Girls High School is one of the best school for the girls of Old Dhaka. This school is located just beside the Gregory's school. Since it is a girl’s school, the entry may not be entertained by the school authority.
As this school remains close at Saturday as weekend, so you can take a chance to visit the school on holiday. This school was built at 1912 under the same board of the Gregory's school, but later on the board is separated, and now controlling by a different authority.
There are two main building inside the school premise. One is “U” shaped. Half of that building used for the kindergarten students, and rest of it for the school's girls as for hostel. The classroom building is “L” shaped and this one was built at 1993. This white colored white shaped building looks nice, and it has a basketball ground in front of it.
There is a small garden inside the school premise. You can easily find a statue of mother Merry who is holding the earth. This garden is profound with several flower plants and small fruit trees. Also at the other end of the ground, you will find a flat labyrinth which is nicely decorated.
The playground for the students is a bit smaller. Also one corner of the playground contains several instruments for the kids, like the seesaw, slipper etc. There is a small two stored building inside the school premise which almost looks like the brother house of the Gregory's school. It is actually used to keep the exam papers and other stuffs; just like a kind of store house.

Khulna University (খুলনা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is a public university in Bangladesh. It is situated at Gollamari, Khulna, by the river Moyur, beside the Khulna-Satkhira highway. The academic programs of Khulna University started on 31 August 1991 with only 80 students in four disciplines. Khulna University has 22 disciplines under five schools and one institute. It is the only university in Bangladesh where student politics is not allowed. There is also no session jam which has created a stable facility of study.
Students passing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination are very much interested in their admission in Khulna University for this politics-free, session-jam free environment. Khulna is an administrative Division as well as the third largest metropolitan city in Bangladesh. The Mongla Sea Port, the Shipyard, the Bangladesh Naval Base are in Khulna. Khulna is well known as industrial city and famous for the Sundarbans.

খুলনার গল্লামারীতে খুলনা- সাতছড়ি মহাসড়কের কাছে ময়ুর নদীর পাশে খুলনা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় অবস্থিত। ১৯৯১ সালের ৩১শে আগস্ট ৪টি বিভাগে মাত্র ৯০ জন ছাত্র-ছাত্রী নিয়ে খুলনা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষাদান কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়। বর্তমানে এই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে একটি ইন্সটিটিউট এবং ২২টি বিভাগ রয়েছে। খুলনা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ছাত্র রাজনীতি মুক্ত তাই এখানে সেশন জ্যামও নেই।
