Chandi Mandir is located at the place name Dhamsreni about 3 km east from Ulipur sub district of Kurigram district. The Mandir was established (1658-1707) at the time of Mughal emperor Aorangajeb. An earthquake was occurred in 1897. That time the earth quake causes serious damage of the Mandir. Now a new Mandir has been established here beside the old Mandir. It was the headquarter of Baharabanda Raganara, who was the Landlord, and Rani Satyabrati.

Sri Sri Madhab Gaurio Moth was established in the year 1921, by a Hindu Saint named Sri Shil Vaktishiddhanto Saraswati Goswami Thakur Pravupaad (শ্রী শীল ভক্তিসিদ্ধান্ত সরস্বতী গোস্বামী ঠাকুর প্রভুপাদ). This Madhab Gaurio Moth has now turned into the facility of a charitable dispensary where Hindu patients are treated well. It is the place where Hindu Religious people used to pray for their well being and simultaneously it's a place for charitable treatment where patients has been prescribed at every Friday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Last Thursday of every month a camping is being launched by the authority to prescribe the people having problems with their eyes.

[post_content] => Ashram of Loknath Baba is a holy place for Bengali Hindu pilgrimages and religious people in Mymensingh. Everywhere in our country a pilgrim from Hindu religion will find a Ashram devoted for the worshiping. In Mymensingh city ORB team experienced couple of Ashrams on the edge and nearby Brahmaputra river. All around the year people worship here but in the month of June of every year this Mymensingh Loknath Babar Ashram becomes more festive at the event of Tirodhan Dibos (on Tithi) of Baba Loknath.
Great quotation of Baba Loknath to his devotees: “Whenever you are in danger, whether in war, forest, ocean or jungle, remember me. I shall save you.”
Baba Loknath was born on 31 August 1730 (Bengali calendar 18th Bhadra, 1137) on the sacred day of Krishna Janmashtami in in the village of Chaurasi Chakla, named as Kochua, few miles far from Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, now in West Bengal, India. He is from a Brahmin family. His father name was Sri Ramnarayan Ghoshal and mother name was Shrimatee Kamaladevi. He has lot of followers and devotees around the world. He has traveled many pilgrimages on foot of Persia, Arabia, Israel and Mecca. They believe at the age of 160, on June 1, 1890 C.E. Baba Loknath took his Samadhi (Left his life means died). Varatkhali Kastho Mandir (ভরতখালী কাষ্ঠ মন্দির) is one of the most common Tirthasthan of Hindu community. It was built around two hundred years ago by Ramonikanto Ray Zamindar (রমনীকান্ত রায় জমিদার). There is a folktale that a pieces of timber had been found in Ghagot (ঘাঘট) river. Someone had collected the timber and when he hit it with an axe, the timber was bleeding out. That night, Zamindar Ramonikanto had dreamed someone saying, "I have come to your ghat, worship me with Eligible reception" (আমি তোর ঘাটে এসেছি,আমাকে যোগ্য সমাদর করে পূজা কর).
By the next day, the Zamindar ordered a craftsman(কারিগর) to make the timber into a sculpture as a Mandir. At the bottom of the sclupture, a Banian tree had been created. That is why it is called Kastho Mandir. Every year in the month of Boishakh, a beautiful crowded fair is held here.
