Brief
Baklai Waterfall is possibly the tallest waterfall of Bangladesh. It has a height of around 380 feet. It is located near at the village Baklai, a village which is deep inside the Bandarban hills. To visit this waterfall, you need to have 5-7 days on hand based on your performance on the trek. It is accessible both from Thanchi and Ruma.
10/12 years back a group of enthusiastic travelers have traveled inside Bandarban and scoured the hills of Bandarban for more than a month. During that visit they discovered this Baklai waterfall from the top. They didn’t watch it from the front/base. So they were not aware about the height of the waterfall.
Later on, DWay Expeditors have traveled a place near to the waterfall and only hearing the sound. Hearing the immense roaring sound of the waterfall from far couldn’t refrain them to discover what it is actually which they later found out to be the massive Baklai Waterfall. And thus the waterfall came to the common knowledge of the public. Even today, very few travelers visit this waterfall due to the lack of awareness.

How to go
As the Baklai Waterfall is located at Thanchi so the traveler should go to Bandarban first. There are many bus services among the districts of Bangladesh to reach Bandarban. Here we are giving some approximate fares information to the travelers to travel from Dhaka to Bandarban.
Travel from Dhaka to Bandarban It may cost around 550/- Taka (BDT) to the travelers if they travel by any non-ac bus service. The travel buses usually start at night. The bus service providers may offer new schedule as well. It can be around 6-7 hours journey to go Dhaka to Bandarban.
Travel from Bandarban to Thanchi: Now the travelers have to go to Thanchi by bus or Chander Gari (Jeep) from Bandarban to reach the destination tour spot. It may take around 4.5 hours for the traveler to reach Thanchi. The distance between Bandarban to Thanchi is about 79 km. Thanchi to Baklai Waterfall from Thanchi Bazar to Baklai you will pass some para as like Tutong Para, Boarding Headman Para, Kaiton Para etc and it will take few hours. If a traveler wants to climb top of the waterfall it may take an hour.

Dhaka and Bandarban are linked by road. There are direct bus services available from Dhaka to reach Bandarban.

There are no direct flight services available from Dhaka to Bandarban. However, you can travel to Chittagong by air and then take a bus or private car to reach Bandarban. Bangladesh Biman, United Airways, Regent Airways and Novo Air, all provide flight services to Chittagong.

This waterfall is known as Horinmara Kundo Waterfall (হরিনমারা কুন্ড ঝরনা). The waterfall has a beautiful basin underneath with pristine green water that was slightly colder. The waterfall was dropping directly on that basin. And it doesn't have any space at the front side (blocked by a small mound). That's why it is not possible to get a full view of the waterfall from the front (or any places).
Once upon a time, this area was having a lot of wild deers. However, by the grace of our greedy human nature, they have almost been vanished. During that golden era, lot of deers used to come here near the basin to drink water. This basin was always filled with water regardless the season. And the deers used to slack their thirst from here. And we shameless human used to hunt them from here. That's why the name of the waterfall is Horinmara Kundo Waterfall (হরিনমারা কুন্ড ঝরনা) or Horinkundo Waterfall (হরিনকুন্ড ঝরনা).

Many attractions are for the tourists around Cox's Bazar. You can go Himchhari to see its Waterfall, this is famous for waterfall, though in the winter season it dwindles but during the rainy season it's really a fabulous and full waterfall can be enjoyed.

Himchhari is a beautiful picnic spot surrounded by palm trees and bamboos. Himchhari is transformed into a colorful and fascinating panorama when the winter sun rises above hilltops and sets in the blue sea. It is only eight miles away from Cox’s Bazar town. A trip by jeep to Himchhari along the sea-beach at dawn is a rewarding experience. These charms attract the holiday makers to visit this picnic spot in large number.
Himchhari is just around 5 kilometers apart from the main town. You can reach at that place by any kind of vehicles. To enter the area, you'll need to buy tickets. Which is around 20 taka. There is only two place that you can enjoy at the park, one is the falls, and another one is the top of the hill.

[post_content] => After enjoying the second step/lower falls of bewitching Toiduchara Waterfall (তৈদুছড়ি ঝরনা), you can pass through an adventurous cliff and reach at the first step/upper falls of the Toiduchara Waterfall. This is known as Toiduchhori Jhorna-2 (তৈদুছড়ি ঝরনা-২) to us, and Kasing Jhorna (কাসিং ঝরনা) to the local Tripura (ত্রিপুরা) tribe.
The height of this waterfall is slight bigger than the previous one. But to my judgement, previous one was more delicate than this one. Water of this Kasing Jhorna falls over a 'stair like' place beneath the waterfall and splashs all around. It was over 4:00 at the afternoon when we were wandering around the waterfall.

Rijuk Waterfall (Rijuk Jhorna) is located at Ruma Upazila of Bandarban District. The water continuously falls onto the Sangu river from about 300 feet high hill, with beautiful sound throughout the year. This water is shiny like pearl particles in the space creating a unique beauty of nature. This lake is surrounded by many kinds of plant and under wood. You can go there any time but during the rainy season the most attractive views of this fall can be seen. This awesome place will make you the most naturalistic and very close to your heart.

এই ঝর্ণার পানি প্রায় ৩০০ ফুট উঁচু থেকে চমৎকার শব্দ করে সারাবছর সাঙ্গু নদীতে পড়ে থাকে। রিজুক ঝর্ণার পানি মুক্তার মত চকচকে যা প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্যের এক অনন্য নিদর্শন। বিভিন্ন রকমের গাছ ও উদ্ভিদ রয়েছে এই ঝর্নাটিকে ঘিরে। বছরের যে কোন সময় এই ঝর্ণাটি দেখতে যেতে পারেন তবে বর্ষাকালে এখানে আসলে রিজুক ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য সত্যিকার অর্থে উপভোগ করতে পারবেন। রিজুক ঝর্ণায় আসলে আপনি নিঃসন্দেহে একজন প্রকৃতিপ্রেমী হয়ে উঠবেন।
