"Dinajpur Sangeet Mohabidyaloy" a musical college located at Chakbazar of Dinajpur District. It is locatedat the opposite side of "Hotel al Rashid". The musical college was established in 1994. The college was built in British rule time. Its architecture tells so. The red colored building is looking nice. The total building iscombination of red color and white color. In Bangladesh there are two musical college it is one of them. Administrative building is the main attraction of the college. It has two domes which enriching it’saristocracy. At first look it is look like an old palace or Rajbari.

Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University is the first and only public university established in memory of great national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam of Bangladesh. It is in a place popularly known as Battala (shade of banyan tree) at Trishal Upazilla of Mymensigh district.
The university was established by the government of Bangladesh on 1 March 2005, though the initiative was taken some years before firstly by a non-official group of socio-cultural local elites: Greater Mymensingh Cultural Forum. The university was originally conceived to be the first culture-based university in Bangladesh, but the University Act of 2006 made it a general university with a special focus on liberal arts education and activities. The academic program of the university started effective from 3 June 2007 with four departments under two faculties: the three departments of Bengali Language & Literature, English Language & Literature, and Music under the Faculty of Arts and the single Department of Computer Science and Engineering under the Faculty of Science & Engineering. Two more departments were established the next year under two new faculties: the Department of Accounting and Information Systems under the Faculty of Business Administration and the Department of Economics under the Faculty of Social Science. Two other departments were opened in the academic year 2009-2010 under two faculties: the Department of Finance and Banking under the Faculty of Business Administration and the Department of Fine Arts under the Faculty of Arts. Four additional departments were established in the academic year 2010-11 under four existing faculties, i.e., the Department of Dramatics under the Faculty of Arts, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering under the Faculty of Science & Engineering, Department of Public Administration under the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Department of Human Resource Management under the Faculty of Business Administration. Folklore department under Faculty of Arts will start in 2014. As of September 2014, there were in all thirteenth departments under the four faculties of JKKNIU.

St Francis Xavier Girls High School is one of the best school for the girls of Old Dhaka. This school is located just beside the Gregory's school. Since it is a girl’s school, the entry may not be entertained by the school authority.
As this school remains close at Saturday as weekend, so you can take a chance to visit the school on holiday. This school was built at 1912 under the same board of the Gregory's school, but later on the board is separated, and now controlling by a different authority.
There are two main building inside the school premise. One is “U” shaped. Half of that building used for the kindergarten students, and rest of it for the school's girls as for hostel. The classroom building is “L” shaped and this one was built at 1993. This white colored white shaped building looks nice, and it has a basketball ground in front of it.
There is a small garden inside the school premise. You can easily find a statue of mother Merry who is holding the earth. This garden is profound with several flower plants and small fruit trees. Also at the other end of the ground, you will find a flat labyrinth which is nicely decorated.
The playground for the students is a bit smaller. Also one corner of the playground contains several instruments for the kids, like the seesaw, slipper etc. There is a small two stored building inside the school premise which almost looks like the brother house of the Gregory's school. It is actually used to keep the exam papers and other stuffs; just like a kind of store house.

Rajendra Government University College is not far away from the main town. This college was established at 1918. Initially it was listed by the government. But later on 1968 it was listed by government. This is the oldest college from the town. Our famous poet "Jasim uddin" was a student of this institution, also he was working with the University of Kolkata from here for research purpose.
When entered inside the college premise, you have found an abandoned building. It was an academic building when this college was build. But accruing with the time, now some new buildings are raised up, and we don't need the old one. Inside the college building, the pillars from the corridor are really eye catching. The round pillars are ornate at the top, and it seems the mixture some British and Muslim culture.

১৯১৮ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত রাজেন্দ্র সরকারি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কলেজটি ফরিদপুর শহর থেকে খুব বেশি দূরে অবস্থিত নয়। ফরিদপুরের প্রাচীনতম এই কলেজটি প্রথমে বেসরকারি হলেও ১৯৬৮ সালে এটিকে সরকারিকরন করা হয়।
বিখ্যাত কবি জসীমউদ্দিন এই কলেজের ছাত্র ছিলেন। এখান থেকে তিনি গবেষণার জন্য কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সাথে কাজ করতেন।
কলেজ প্রাঙ্গনে প্রবেশের পর আপনি একটি পরিত্যাক্ত ভবন দেখতে পাবেন। কলেজ প্রতিষ্ঠার সময় এই ভবনটি কলেজের একাডেমিক ভবন ছিল। কিন্ত সময়ের সাথে নতুন ভবন নির্মাণের ফলে পুরাতন ভবনটি আর কাজে আসছে না।
কলেজ ভবনের অভ্যন্তরে করিডরের পিলারগুলো এককথায় নজরকাড়া। নকশার কাজ করা পিলারগুলোর নির্মাণশৈলীতে মুসলিম এবং ইংরেজদের সংস্কৃতির মিশ্রণ লক্ষ্য করা যায়।
