Many attractions are for the tourists around Cox’s Bazar. You can go Himchhari to see its Waterfall, this is famous for waterfall, though in the winter season it dwindles but during the rainy season it’s really a fabulous and full waterfall can be enjoyed.

Himchhari is a beautiful picnic spot surrounded by palm trees and bamboos. Himchhari is transformed into a colorful and fascinating panorama when the winter sun rises above hilltops and sets in the blue sea. It is only eight miles away from Cox’s Bazar town. A trip by jeep to Himchhari along the sea-beach at dawn is a rewarding experience. These charms attract the holiday makers to visit this picnic spot in large number.

Himchhari is just around 5 kilometers apart from the main town. You can reach at that place by any kind of vehicles. To enter the area, you’ll need to buy tickets. Which is around 20 taka. There is only two place that you can enjoy at the park, one is the falls, and another one is the top of the hill.

How to go

It is located 12 km south of Cox’s Bazar Town and 6 km from the Kalatali beach. From Kalatali stand, it is only 15-minute ride to entry if you take a taxi or chandergari (local transport). You can also rent a car from Bazar.

Rijuk Waterfall (Rijuk Jhorna) is located at Ruma Upazila of Bandarban District. The water continuously falls onto the Sangu river from about 300 feet high hill, with beautiful sound throughout the year. This water is shiny like pearl particles in the space creating a unique beauty of nature. This lake is surrounded by many kinds of plant and under wood. এই ঝর্ণার পানি প্রায় ৩০০ ফুট উঁচু থেকে চমৎকার শব্দ করে সারাবছর সাঙ্গু নদীতে পড়ে থাকে। রিজুক ঝর্ণার পানি মুক্তার মত চকচকে যা প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্যের এক অনন্য নিদর্শন। বিভিন্ন রকমের গাছ ও উদ্ভিদ রয়েছে এই ঝর্নাটিকে ঘিরে। বছরের যে কোন সময় এই ঝর্ণাটি দেখতে যেতে পারেন তবে বর্ষাকালে এখানে আসলে রিজুক ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য সত্যিকার অর্থে উপভোগ করতে পারবেন। রিজুক ঝর্ণায় আসলে আপনি নিঃসন্দেহে একজন প্রকৃতিপ্রেমী হয়ে উঠবেন।

Khoiyachhora Waterfall is a magnificent waterfall of Chittagong. On this trail there are few more big waterfalls which are amazing. There are also some underground deep caves filled with water and fresh water natural pool. It is notable that if you want to go to first step of the waterfall you will have to climb and the trail is little bit risky.

This waterfall is undoubtedly the biggest waterfall according to the size and structure. Its 9 main steps and other scattered steps prove that this is the unique. There is a hill in Khoiyachhora which lit all the time, even into the rains because of gas.

In Bangladesh, most of the people used to visit Porikunda Waterfall during the dry season, and they found this is of much interesting place for visiting. Few people know about Porikunda Waterfall. However, those who already have visited the Madhabkunda waterfall and still do not know that there is another waterfall inside the "Madhabkunda Echo Park". Porikunda falls is just before the Madhabkunda falls.

However, it is inside in the Eco Park towards the Madhabkunda falls, which is why people do not get it. During dry season, this falls used to keep dormant which can be another reason and it is only alive during Monsoon. Although the height is around 150 meter, Porikunda falls looks much taller because of gradual steepness from bottom to top. The depth of water is not that much great, but it used to spread its water over the stones when falling down.

If you find it difficult to locate the Porikunda falls, just ask someone who works inside the echo park. They will show you the path. You have to walk through the infertile path over the stream of the waterfalls. Also you cannot skip to get your dresses are wet. Finally be careful, because any moment you can get slipped, and get yourself hurt.

Some people think, this waterfall is more beautiful from the main one, the Madhabkunda falls for its silence (except drops of water). People don't used to come there (because they don't know). No chaos from the other tourists (which is available near the Madhabkunda falls). Porikunda falls is much taller, and the amount of water is not that much great, but it used to spread its water over the stones when falling down. And that just gave an outstanding beauty to the waterfalls.

{:}{:bn}পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণা মৌলভীবাজার জেলার বড়লেখা উপজেলায় মাধবকুণ্ড জলপ্রপাতের নিকটে অবস্থিত। যারা ইতিমধ্যেই মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাত দেখতে গিয়েছেন তাদের অনেকেরই জানা নেই যে মাধবকুণ্ড ইকো পার্কের অভ্যন্তরে আরেকটি ঝর্ণা রয়েছে। মাধবকুণ্ড জলপ্রপাতের ঠিক আগেই অবস্থিত পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণাটি তাই অনেকের কাছেই অচেনা। বর্ষাকাল ছাড়া অন্যান্য মৌসুমে এই ঝর্ণাটি শুকিয়ে যায়। পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণা খুঁজে পেতে অসুবিধা হলে পার্কের অভ্যন্তরে কাউকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তারাই আপনাকে পথ চিনিয়ে দেবে। এই ঝর্ণায় পৌছাতে হলে আপনাকে প্রবাহিত পানির ওপর দিয়ে অমসৃণ পথে হাঁটতে হবে তাই এসময় আপনার জামা কাপড় ভিজতে বাধ্য। এছাড়া পিচ্ছিল পথে চলার সময় আপনাকে সাবধানে পা ফেলতে হবে অন্যথায় যেকোন মুহূর্তে পিছলে পড়ে আপনি আঘাত পেতে পারেন। অনেকে মনে করেন যে এখানকার নীরবতার কারনে এই ঝর্ণাটি মাধবকুণ্ডের মূল জলপ্রপাতের চেয়ে বেশি সুন্দর। অজ্ঞতার কারনে এখানে মানুষজন খুব একটা না আশায় এই নীরবতা বজায় থাকে (মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাতটি পর্যটকদের ভিড়ে পরিপূর্ণ থাকে)। প্রায় ১৫০ মিটার উঁচু এই ঝর্ণাটি নীচ থেকে উপরে বেশ খাড়া হওয়ায় এটিকে মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাতের চাইতে উঁচু মনে হয়। এই ঝর্ণায় পানির পরিমান ও গভীরতা কম হলেও পাথরের ওপর পানি পরার পর অনেক দূর পর্যন্ত ছড়িয়ে যায় আর এ কারনেই এই ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য বহুগুন বেড়ে যায়।{:} ) [3] => Array ( [name] => {:en}Patang Jhiri waterfall{:}{:bn}পাতাং ঝিরি ঝর্ণা{:} [post_id] => 5347 [post_link] => http://offroadbangladesh.com/places/patang-jhiri-waterfall/ [thumb_link] => http://offroadbangladesh.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/AmarYellowPages-Patang-Jhiri-11-300x225.jpg [post_content] => {:en}

Patang Jhiri Waterfall is located at Ruma Upazila in Bandarban. Patang Jhiri waterfall is also near to Boga Lake. Patang Jhiri is situated before the way of Boga Lake. When a traveler travels to Boga Lake he should visit Patang Jhiri waterfall. In rainy season it is very difficult to reach at the top of the waterfall but in winter some undaunted traveler climb at the top of the Patang Jhiri Waterfall. Patang Jhiri is not very big waterfall but its structure and surrounding view is really exceptional.

If you are a trekker from Bangladesh, then you are already familiar with the "Jiri Path". Its a walking path where you have to walk through the water streams which are coming from the top of the hill. The water level is very low here. Most of the cases an average of 1 feet or less. But some places from the "Jhiri" are having very deep water level.

There are several areas under the waterfall where the water gathers, and made those a natural bathtub. The main one, where the water dropping directly, having no depth found so far. Many people tried, but couldn't find the depth. The teal colored crystal water from the basin is really something. It will be hard for you to leave the place.

বগা লেকের পূর্বেই পাতাং ঝিরি ঝর্ণা অবস্থিত। বগা লেক দেখতে গেলে আপনার পাতাং ঝিরি ঝর্ণা দেখতে যাওয়া উচিত। বর্ষাকালে এই ঝর্ণার উপরে ওঠা খুবই দুরহ হলেও শীতকালে কোন কোন নির্ভীক পর্যটক পাতাং ঝিরি ঝর্ণার উপরে উঠে থাকে। এই ঝর্ণাটি খুব বড় না হলেও ঝর্ণার গঠন এবং চারপাশের দৃশ্য এক কথায় অদ্বিতীয়।
