Beside the bank of the Ichhamoti river (ইছামতি নদী), you'll find an old house that is currently abandoned. No inscription was found about the house. From the architecture of the old house, you can only guess that it was a house of a wealthy man who could have been a Zamindar (জমিদার) or a rich merchant. Boktnogor/Boktonogor(বকতনগর/বক্তনগর) is a place located near the Shikari Para(শিকারী পারা) after Bandura bazaar(বান্দুরা বাজার).
This well-built edifice has lot of rooms inside. Front side of the house is still firm, but damaged at the back sides. Still now a days the house has a lot of open spaces around including ponds. At the south-west corner of the mansion, another edifice is available. This one is an old mosque. Again it is unsure about the builder of the mosque.
If the owner of the mosque and the house is the same person, then the owner must be a Muslim. The village name is Boktnagar (বক্তনগর) which should came from Bokht Nogor (বখত নগর). Possibly someone lived there named Bokht (বখত) and sounds a Muslim name, but all are predictions.
The mosque is a small one having three domes at the top. Middle one is a bit larger compare to other twos. Just above the main gate, and inscription is found written in Arabic. The mosque has a pond at the southern side and a graveyard at the eastern side.

ইছামতি নদীর তীরে একটি পরিত্যাক্ত ভবন দেখতে পাবেন তবে কোন শিলালিপি না থাকায় এই ভবনটি সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত জানা যায়নি। তবে, ভবনের স্থাপত্যশৈলী দেখে বোঝা যায় এটি ছিল একটি জমিদার বাড়ি। এই ভবনটির অভ্যন্তরে বেশকয়েকটি কক্ষ রয়েছে। জমিদারবাড়ির সামনের দিকটি এখনও মজবুত থাকলেও পেছনের দিকটি বেশ ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ হয়েছে।
এখনও ভবনটির চারপাশে একটি পুকুরসহ বেশকিছু খালি জায়গা রয়েছে। জমিদারবাড়ির দক্ষিন-পশ্চিম কোনায় একটি প্রাচীন মসজিদ রয়েছে। মসজিদটির নির্মাণের ব্যাপারেও কিছু জানা যায়নি। যদি জমিদারবাড়ি এবং মসজিদের মালিক একই ব্যাক্তি হয়ে থাকেন তবে ধরে নেওয়া যায় যে তিনি ছিলেন একজন মুসলিম। ধারনা করা হয়ে থাকে যে গ্রামতির নাম বক্তনগর হয়েছে বখতনগর শব্দ থেকে। এমনও হতে পারে যে, বখত নামক কোন মুসলিম ব্যাক্তির নামে গ্রামটির নামকরণ করা হয়েছে।
এখানে অবস্থিত মসজিদটি ছোট এবং তিনগম্বুজ বিশিষ্ট। তবে মাঝখানের গম্বুজটি অন্য দুটি গম্বুজের চেয়ে বড়। মসজিদের মূল প্রবেশ পথের উপরে আরবীতে লেখা শিলালিপি দেখা যায়। মসজিদের দক্ষিনে একটি পুকুর এবং পূর্বদিকে একটি কবরস্থান রয়েছে।

Khwaja Shahbaz, the founder of the mosque was a prominent merchant of Dhaka. In fact, prominent is not the paragon for him. People used to call him as "Merchant of Prince". According to the history of the mosque, it was built at 1679 AD in the surrounding of the Ramna Park.
The mosque has three large Domes, and the architecture is almost similar to the structures at the era of Mughal (Shaista Khan). The measurement of the mosque is exactly 20.73 m by 7.92m. It is comprises with three front doors, where the middle one is a bit larger compare if you compare with other two.
As a commemoration, the mosque premise has a tomb of the founder of the mosque. The tomb is decorated with only a single dome. The southern part of the tomb has a nicely shaped veranda with a curvy roof. Inside the tomb, there is something which is covered with red cloth.
Each corner of the mosque or the tomb has a firmly built pillar, which are lovely to examine. The baroque style of the pillar will certainly impress you. Neither the mosque nor the tomb has any window. That's why when you'll look inside the tomb or mosque, you'll find it a bit darker, no matter how sunny the day is. Finally it is strictly forbidden for the women for "Jumma Prayer" at Friday. Using a notice board at the facade of the mosque, it’s proclaimed that they have no facilities for women for Jumma Prayer.

Among many of the structures of Egarosindur, Sadi Mosque is one of the best-conserved monuments in the country. A pertain inscription tablet, fixed over the central mihrab, record that the mosque was built in 1062 AH (1652 AD) by one Sadi, son of Shaikh Shiroo, during the reign of Shahjahan.

Sadi Mosque (সাদী মসজিদ) is a single domed mosque similar to the Shah Mahmud Mosque. A large dome is at the top of the mosque which almost cover the whole roof. The dome is quite large and bulbous. Also, the structure is quite difficult in nature and can easily be distinguished from others.
The mosque has decorative terracotta at the outer side and the inner side of the mosque. Sadi mosque (সাদী মসজিদ) was built by someone named Sadi (সাদী) who was the son of Shaikh Shiru (শাইখ শিরু). It was during 1652, the regime of Shahjahan (শাহজাহান).

সাদী মসজিদকে বলা যায় দেশের অন্যতম শ্রেষ্ঠ সংরক্ষিত স্থাপনার একটি। মসজিদের কেন্দ্রস্থলের মিহরাবের উপর স্থাপিত শিলালিপি থেকে জানা যায় যে ১০৬২ হিজরী (১৬৫২ সালে) সম্রাট শাহজাহানের শাসনামলে জনৈক শাইখ শিরুর পুত্র সাদী এই মসজিদটি নির্মাণ করেছিলেন।
একটি গোলাকার গম্বুজবিশিষ্ট বর্গাক্ষেত্রাকার এই মসজিদটি উঁচু জমির উপর নির্মাণ করা হয়। প্রতি বাহু ২৫ ফুট দৈর্ঘ্যর এই মসজিদটির পূর্বে তিনটি, উত্তরদিকে মাঝ বরাবর একটি এবং দক্ষিন দিকে একটি ধনুকআকারের ফটক রয়েছে। মসজিদের মাঝখানের বড় ফটকটি একটি আয়াতক্ষেত্রাকার কাঠামোর উপর নির্মাণ করা হলেও অন্যান্য ফটকগুলো সামান্য নিচু আয়াতক্ষেত্রাকার কাঠামোর উপর নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। মসজিদের কিবলার দেয়ালে পূর্বদিকের দরজা ফটকগুলো বরাবর তিনটি অর্ধ অষ্টভুজাকার মিহরাব রয়েছে। মসজিদের নির্মাণশৈলীতে মুঘল এবং সুলতানি আমলের স্থাপত্যশৈলীর চমৎকার মিশ্রণ লক্ষ্য করা যায় আর এজন্যই অন্যান্য স্থাপত্য থেকে খুব সহজেই এই মসজিদটিকে আলাদা করা যায়। মসজিদের ভেতরে ও বাইরে টেরাকোটার কাজ রয়েছে।

Mahisantosh Mosque located near the India-Bangladesh edge about 13 km northern western of Dhamorihat Thana Sadar in Naogaon place. Mahisantosh, known from Pre-Muslim periods, came to reputation during the guideline of Sultan Ruknuddin Barbak shah (1459-1474) who raised its place to an excellent town and known as it Barbakabad after him.
