Brief

10 Number Jhorna, also called as Hajachhori Waterfall, is located at slight eastern side from the Dighinala (দীঘিনালা) town of Khagrachhari District. Local people are familiar with this waterfall by the name 10 number waterfall (১০ নাম্বার ঝরনা). Though at internet, you may find another name Hajachhora Waterfall (হাজাছড়া ঝরনা). Whatever the name is, the waterfall is having very less amount of water flow. You may expect this waterfall with full of water in the rainy season. As it is very easy to access, a vast number of tourists use to enjoy their weekends here.

How to go

If you are visiting Dighinala (দীঘিনালা) town, and having time on hand, you can easily visit it. I’ll recommend you to use CNG auto rickshaw, but you have motor bike as another option. Bike will cost you 200 taka and CNG will cost you 300 taka for round trip. It will be around 30 minutes to reach to the waterfall, and then you have to walk another 5 minutes to reach at the bottom of the Hajachhora waterfall (হাজাছড়া ঝরনা).

Also, the waterfall is on the way of Sajek Valley. You can visit this waterfall during your Sajek trip also. GPS coordinate (23°16’12.38″N, 92° 7’51.86″E).

How To Reach: খাগড়াছড়ি জেলা

There are two ways to get in Khagrachari, both by road: Direct from Dhaka via BaroiarHat or from Chittagong. A number of non-stop coach services are available from Dhaka (e.g., Shanti Paribahan, Soudia, S. Alam, Eagle and ShamoliParibahan). Gabtoli, Saidabad, Komolapur and Kolabagan are the bus stand name in Dhaka where you can get bus tickets. Bus fare was about 520 Taka (as of 11-May-2014).

From Chittagong you can get non-AC bus services of BRTC and Shanti Paribahan are most convenient with the fare as cheap as to travel to Khagarachari or the other two hill districts (Rangamati and Bandarban). Oxygen-moor is the bus stand name in Chittagong. But there is no bus service will available after 6 pm.

Jadipai Waterfall also known Jadipai Jhorna is one of the widest waterfalls in Bangladesh. Jadipai Waterfall is really nice place to visit. Though the path of this area is not smooth but when you reach there you will feel the tranquility one desires.

This waterfall is the Goddess of all waterfall in Bangladesh. It is one of the widest waterfall of Bangladesh. During the rainy season the flow of Jadipai fall becomes robust. Suptadhara Falls is one of the twp falls in Shitakunda Eco Park. This falls keeps dormant except the Rainy season. If you are there at rainy season, only then, you can enjoy the beauty of the falls with full of water. In the dry season, from the far side of the falls, it will appear that the fall doesn't have any water. But when you move toward the falls, you can see a glimpse of water which is dripping from the top of it.

The beauty of the proximity of the falls is outclass. Small and large block of stones are spread all over. It looks like a kind of white beauty. After enjoying the falls, you can start moving toward the side of the falls for riding the mountain.

সীতাকুণ্ড ইকো পার্কে অবস্থিত দুটি ঝর্ণার একটি হল সুপ্তধারা ঝর্ণা। বর্ষাকাল ছাড়া বছরের বাকি সময় এই ঝর্ণায় পানি থাকে না। তাই শুস্ক মৌসুমে দূর থেকে দেখলে মনে হবে ঝর্ণায় কোন পানি নেই। তবে, ঝর্ণার কাছে গেলে সামান্য কিছু পানি পরতে দেখবেন। যদি বর্ষাকালে এখানে আসেন তবে ঝর্নাটিকে পানিতে পরিপূর্ণ অবস্থায় দেখতে পাবেন এবং ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য পুরোপুরি উপভোগ করতে পারবেন।

ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য এক কথায় অসাধারণ। এখানে বড় এবং ছোট পাথর খণ্ড ছড়ানো ছিটানো অবস্থায় আছে। ঝর্ণা দেখে আপনি পাহাড়ে উঠতে পারেন।

Baklai Waterfall is possibly the tallest waterfall of Bangladesh. It has a height of around 380 feet. It is located near at the village Baklai, a village which is deep inside the Bandarban hills. To visit this waterfall, you need to have 5-7 days on hand based on your performance on the trek. It is accessible both from Thanchi and Ruma.

10/12 years back a group of enthusiastic travelers have traveled inside Bandarban and scoured the hills of Bandarban for more than a month. During that visit they discovered this Baklai waterfall from the top. They didn't watch it from the front/base. So they were not aware about the height of the waterfall.

Later on, DWay Expeditors have traveled a place near to the waterfall and only hearing the sound. Hearing the immense roaring sound of the waterfall from far couldn't refrain them to discover what it is actually which they later found out to be the massive Baklai Waterfall. And thus the waterfall came to the common knowledge of the public. Even today, very few travelers visit this waterfall due to the lack of awareness.

বাকলাই ঝর্ণা সম্ভবত দেশের সবচেয়ে উঁচু ঝর্ণা। বান্দরবানের পাহাড়ের গভীরে বাকলাই গ্রামে অবস্থিত এই ঝর্ণাটি প্রায় ৩৮০ ফুট উঁচু। এই ঝর্ণাটি দেখতে চাইলে আপনাকে হাতে পাঁচ থেকে সাতদিন রাখতে হবে। তবে আপনি কতটা হাঁটতে পারেন তাঁর উপর নির্ভর করছে এখানে আসতে কতদিন লাগতে পারে। থানচি এবং রুমা থেকে আপনি এই ঝর্ণাটি দেখতে আসতে পারবেন।

দশ থেকে বারো বছর পূর্বে একদল সাহসী পর্যটক বান্দরবানের গভীরে ভ্রমণ করতে যায় এবং প্রায় একমাসের অধিক সময় বান্দরবানের পাহাড় খনন করে। এই ভ্রমনের সময় তারা বাকলাই ঝর্ণাটি উপর থেকে আবিষ্কার করে। যেহেতো তারা ঝর্ণাটি সামনে থেকে দেখেনি তাই এটির উচ্চতা সম্পর্কে তারা অবগত ছিল না।

পরবর্তীতে আরেক দল অভিযাত্রী ঝর্ণা কাছে একটি স্থানে যায় এবং ঝর্ণার পানি পরার শব্দ শুনতে পায়। ঝর্ণার পানি পরার প্রচণ্ড শব্দ শুনে তারা শব্দের উৎস আবিষ্কারের জন্য অগ্রসর হয় এবং বাকলাই ঝর্ণাটি আবিষ্কার করে। আর এভাবেই সবার সামনে চলে আসে বাকলাই ঝর্ণা। এমনকি আজও খুব কম পর্যটকই ঝর্ণাটি দেখতে যান।

Bisanakandi is situated at Bangladesh-India border in Sylhet. It is a landscape beauty among gardens and hills. Bichanakandi is a village situated in Rustompur Union under Guainghat Upazilla. This is where many layers of the Khasi mountain meet at a single point from both sides. Flowing from above is a high fall. Adding to its charm are dark clouds hugging the mountain in the rainy season. And flowing underneath towards Bholaganj is a branch of the Piyain. Along the stream flowing from high up in the mountain come huge boulders that are deposited and mined in Bisanakandi.

Much like Jaflong, Bichnakandi is mostly a quarry. Winter is not a suitable time to visit Bisnakandi due to mechanized mining and stone-laden boats and lorries. The absence of such nuisance makes the rainy season the perfect time to visit the beautiful Bisanakandi that coalesces the charms of high mountains, sinuous rivers, graceful falls and dancing clouds.

সিলেটের গোয়াইনঘাট উপজেলার রুস্তম ইউনিয়নে বাংলাদেশ-ভারত সীমান্তে অবস্থিত একটি গ্রামের নাম বিছানাকান্দি। বাগান এবং পাহাড়ের নজরকাড়া সৌন্দর্যের মাঝে অবস্থিত প্রকৃতির এই অপরূপ লীলাভূমির উভয় প্রান্ত থেকে খাসি পাহাড় এসে যুক্ত হয়েছে। এখানে ঝর্ণার পাশাপাশি বর্ষাকালে কালো মেঘ পাহাড়গুলোকে আচ্ছাদিত করে ফেলে। এছাড়া এখানে ভোলাগঞ্জ অভিমুখে বয়ে গিয়েছে পিইয়াইন নদীর একটি শাখা। পাহাড়ি ঢলের সাথে বয়ে আসা বিশাল পাথরখণ্ডগুলো বিছানাকান্দিতে এসে পড়ে এবং পরবর্তীতে এই পাথরখণ্ডগুলোকে এখানেই ভাঙ্গা হয়।

জাফলং এর মত বিছানাকান্দিও একটি খনি এলাকা। পাথর বোঝাই নৌকা, ট্রাকের আনাগোনা এবং পাথর উত্তোলনের কারনে শীতকাল বিছানাকান্দিতে আসার জন্য একেবারেই উপযুক্ত সময় নয়। তবে, বর্ষাকালে এখানে পাথর উত্তোলনের ফলে সৃষ্ট দূষণ না থাকায় আপনি এখানে এসে উঁচু পাহাড়, শান্ত নদী, মায়াবি ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্যের পাশাপাশি রোদ ও মেঘের লুকোচুরি উপভোগ করতে পারবেন।
