Burir Hat Mosque (বুড়ির হাট মসজিদ) is the interested Islamic structure in Bangladesh. It is so beautiful that you cannot believe without seeing. Burir Hat is the recognized hat (Bazar) in Shariatpur. It stands Bhedarganj Upazila in Shariatpur. It is the birth place of famous artist Davda Chakraborti.

বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম আকর্ষণীয় ইসলামিক স্থাপনা হলো বুড়িরহাট মসজিদ। মসজিদটি এতটাই সুন্দর যে আপনি নিজ চোখে না দেখলে তা বিশ্বাস করতে পারবেন না। শরিয়তপুরের একটি স্বীকৃত হাট (বাজার) হলো এই বুড়িরহাট। এখানে জন্মেছিলেন বিখ্যাত শিল্পী দাভদা চক্রবর্তী।

Nine Dome Mosque is now a protected monument of the Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh. There are 3 pointed arched openings on the north, south and east sides adjoined within tall rectangular frames. The western wall is relieved with three semicircular mihrabs of which the central one is larger and is projected to the west.
The decorations of the multi-cusped mihrabs contains terracotta floral, scroll and foliage patterns within rectangular panels. Each Mihrabs center is decorated with chain and bell motif. Apexes of the arches have diaper designs and large rosettes at the spandrels. Rest three walls are relieved with only two niches in each.
The corner towers are round and are surfaced by eight bands of moldings. The exterior walls are eased with vertical panels. The curved cornice is very prominent.

খান জাহান আলীর মাজারের অর্ধেক কিলোমিটারেরও কম দূরত্বে ঠাকুরদীঘির পশ্চিম তীরে নয় গম্বুজ মসজিদ অবস্থিত। এই মসজিদটি বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশের প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক অধিদফতরের অধীনে একটি সংরক্ষিত নিদর্শন। মসজিদটির উত্তর, দক্ষিন এবং পূর্বদিকে লম্বা আয়াতক্ষেত্রাকার কাঠামোর মধ্যে তিনটি ধনুকআকারের ফটক রয়েছে। নয়গম্বুজবিশিষ্ট মসজিদের পশ্চিম দিকের দেয়ালে তিনটি অর্ধ গোলাকার মিহরাব রয়েছে যেগুলোর মধ্যে মাঝখানের মিহরাবটি বড় এবং পশ্চিমদিকে হেলানো। খাঁজকাটা মিহরাবগুলোতে টেরাকোটার উপর আয়াতক্ষেত্রাকার কাঠামোর মধ্যে ফুল ও পাতার নকশা রয়েছে এবং মিহরাবের মাঝখানে শিকল ও ঘণ্টার নকশা রয়েছে। মসজিদের খিলানের শীর্ষে বুটির নকশা এবং খিলান, ছাদ ও দেয়ালের মধ্যবর্তী স্থানে গোলাপের নকশা রয়েছে। নয়গম্বুজবিশিষ্ট মসজিদের অবশিষ্ট তিনটি দেয়ালের প্রতিটিতে দুটি করে খিলান রয়েছে। মসজিদটির কোণায় অবস্থিত টাওয়ারগুলো গোলাকার এবং এগুলোতে আট স্তরের ঢালাই রয়েছে।

Mahajampur was an ancient Muslim ruled region. This region is situated few miles north to Sonargaon town area. There is a Mosque found here, named Mahajampur Ahamad Shah Mosque, which was built around in 16th C.E. The style of bricks engraving and placement of dome charms the visitors. There are so many Scholars who had described the location and beauty of this mosque at different time in various writing. Among them, ‘Parvin Hasan & A.K.M. Zakaria’ described its beauty in their writing.
Many ancient evidences of human settlement has been found along with this Mosque & Mazar structure. Archaeologist found a big quantity of ancient bricks wherever they conducted excavation in that region. Two inscriptions being discovered from this Mosque. From one of those inscriptions we came to know about Sultan Shams Uddin Ahmad Shah (1432-1436 AD), which make it named after by his name. But, it has been said that someone named Firoz khan built that Mosque.
This is a six domed Mosque, which is built following the stylistic beauty of Baba Adam Shahid Mosque. Domes over the roof are bearing the evidences of Sultani Architecture of Bengal. It contains various design and decorations which is certainly something needs to be observed meticulously.

There are actually two Badar Mokam mosques are in Cox's Bazar. One of them is situated on the southern bank of the Bakkhali River under Cox's Bazar Pourashava. It is located just beside the Cox's Bazar post office. A beautiful mosque stands, which is known as Badar Mokam mosque. Besides, the southern-most apex of Teknaf Thana, Bangladesh is also widely known by that name. Once there was a mosque but the Badar Mokam mosque of Cox’s Bazar is the oldest one in the district.

কক্সবাজারে দুটি বদর মোকাম মসজিদ আছে। এই দুটি মসজিদের মধ্যে একটি কক্সবাজার পৌরসভার অধীনে বাকখালী নদীর দক্ষিন তীরে পোস্ট অফিসের পাশে অবস্থিত। অন্য মসজিদটি টেকনাফ থানার সর্বদক্ষিনে অবস্থিত আর একারনেই টেকনাফের এই স্থানটি এই মসজিদের নামেই সুপরিচিত। কক্সবাজারের বদর মোকাম মসজিদটি এই জেলার প্রাচীনতম মসজিদ।
