Brief
Kartalab Khan Mashjid or Mosque of Kartalab Khan (কর্তালাব খান মসজিদ) is located at the Begum Bazar of Old Dhaka. It was built by the Dewan Murshid Quli Khan, also known as Kartalab Khan during 1701-1704, and the mosque named after him. For its location, people used to call this as Begum Bazar Mosque. Hardly very few people know this mosque as Kartalab Khan’s Mosque now a days. The Google Map coordinate of the mosque is (23°43’2.03″N, 90°23’54.59″E), near to the Dhaka Central Jail.
Like any other mosques of that period, this one was built over a plinth like high vault. This mosque has five domes at the top of it, and an extended do-chala (দো চালা) like room at northern side. Though it was built around 300 years back, but now a days none of its antiquities are available.
Old Dhaka is already a congested area and there is hardly any space around the mosque for you to observe. Busy trading is going on around the mosque area. In fact it will be hard for you to stand beside the road and watch the top of the mosque.
There are buildings around the mosque those are using as market. So you can easily use any of those. This mosque could have been used as a token of our glorious past if it were handled with great care.

Muslim saint HajrotMaulanaKeramot Ali Jaunapuri (Rh) was the 35 generation of Hajrot Abu Bakkar (Ra) 1st Khalifah (ruler) of Islam. MaulanaJaunapuri (Rh) born in 1225 Hijri at Mulatol colony in Jaunapuri of MadhoProdesh, India. At his mature age they came to Rangpur for spread Islam. For his wisdom, persona and simple life planning lots of people took Islam as their religion. After his death in 30 may in 1873 beside his tomb the karamotia Mosque was built. Rectangular sized this domes mosque Constructed according to the Mughal architecture and local beautiful craft. Its internal size is 42'-0"*13'-0". The Width of the east-west wall of the Mosque is 3'-3" north-south wall is 2'-10". The high of the masjid is 18'-0" from the ground. The domes was built over octagonal drum size platform. In the lower part of the domes there is Marlon designs.

Chatmohor Mosque mosque was built with red zafi bricks. It has 3 domes. Its length is 51 feet and breadth 21 feet. An inscription says that it was built during time of Great Sultan, the chief of Saiyyiads Abduls Fath Mohammad Makum Khan, son of Tu Mohammad Khan Kushal. The inscription on black stone is kept in Varendra Research Museum.

চাটমোহর মসজিদ পাবনা জেলার চাটমোহর উপজেলায় অবস্থিত। লাল রঙের জাফি ইট দিয়ে মসজিদটি নির্মাণ করা হয়। তিন গম্বুজ বিশিষ্ট মসজিদটি লম্বায় ৫১ ফুট এবং চওড়ায় ২১ ফুট। শিলালিপি থেকে জানা যায় মসজিদটি তুমোহাম্মদ খান কুশালের পুত্র সাইয়াদ গোত্রের প্রধান গ্রেট সুলতান আব্দুলস ফাত মোহাম্মাদ মাখুম খানের সময়ে নির্মাণ করা হয়। কালো পাথরের শিলালিপিটি বরেন্দ্র গবেষণা জাদুঘরে রাখা আছে।

Jungle-bari (জঙ্গলবাড়ী) is mainly a fort that is located at the Jungle-bari (জঙ্গলবাড়ী) of Karimganj Upazila (করিমগঞ্জ উপজেলা) of Kishoreganj (কিশোরগঞ্জ). It was the second capital of Isha Khan (ইশা খাঁ). He captured the fort from Lokkhon Shing Hajara (লক্ষন সিং হাজারা) during the battle of Egaro Shindur (এগারো সিন্দুর) with Man Singh (মান সিংহ).
This is known as Jungle-bari Durgo (জঙ্গলবাড়ী দুর্গ), Isha Khar Bari (ইশা খাঁর বাড়ী), etc. to the local people. There is a dilapidated building is still available there. A portion of that building is still being used by the decedents from Isha Kha (ইশা খাঁ).
An archaic mosque is available just beside the Jungle-bari (জঙ্গলবাড়ী) fort. It’s a small rectangular shaped mosque having three domes at the top and four minarets at the four corners. A large pond is available at the eastern side of the mosque.
Most of the Zamindar Bari (জমিদার বাড়ী) from Bangladesh are in a very poor condition. That time the owners were facing difficulties for religious upheaval and other adverse situations, thus they have sensed an urgency to leave this country for their own safety. But fortunately, here they are still living with pride, may be they were too much friendly with the peasants.

Chad Gazi Bhuya Mosque, also known as Chad Kha Mosque, is an archaic mosque from the Feni district that was built during 1112 Hijri (Arabic Calendar). According to the inscription at the front door, the mosque was built by someone named Chad Gazi Bhuya. It’s a traditional three domed mosque, domes are in a single row. Center one is larger compared to the others. All the three domes are having a Lotus at the top and two Kolosh (native water pot). This looks delicately beautiful and adds an extraordinary beauty to the mosque.
Apart from the domes, the mosque has 12 minarets over the walls in a symmetric way. Four minarets at the four corners are having similar style and other 8 minarets amid the walls are also having similar style. Eastern side of the wall is having simple terracotta along with the terracotta above the front door.
