Brief

Sri-Sri Madan Mahan Ziub Kali Mandir (শ্রী-শ্রী মদন মোহন জিউব কালী মন্দির) is situated at Gobindaganj Upazila under the district of Gaibandha. It is approximately half kilometer away from Raja Biratnagar. A banyan tree and pond is situated just in front of the Mandir Complex. Everyday many tourist from different places come to visit here. Specially, in the month of Boishakh a fair is celebrated here.

How to go

You have to go to Gobindaganj Upazila. Then you have to hire a CNG to go to Shorgachi. From Shorgachi, you can manage a rickshaw to go to Biratnagar.

Dhaka and Gaibandha is linked by road. You can take a bus from Dhaka to reach Gaibandha district. Some of the bus services have been listed below for your assistance.

Joy Kalibari Temple, one of the oldest temples in Natore, is located in Natore Sadar Upazila at Lalbazar area. This temple is approximately 300 years old, was built around the beginning of 18th century by Dayaram (দয়ারাম) Roy (1680-1760), the great and influential Dewan of Queen Bhabani (1716-1795) of Natore and the establisher of Dighapatia Royal Family. This temple has 2 buildings. Alongside the main building, in the right, there is a Shiv Mandir. Every weekend, people from all over the district come to this historical and beautiful temple to worship and pay their respects. There are various religious occasions like Durga Puja, Kali Puja etc. which are being celebrated here every year with much pomp and splendor.

Chondi Mura Mandir or Lalmai Mandir is a small temple. This Temple is at the southern end of the Lalmai Hill. That's why mostly the devoted people use to go here. Very few tourists like us use to go there. This temple is located at the top of a hillock and you have to climb there using the stairs. It’s tiresome to reach at the top.

Most of the tourist spots are somewhere around the other side of Shalbon Bihar of Comilla. You'll have the whole stairs is covered with evergreen trees. And at any stages, you can have a break by supporting your body on the railing of the stairs. You can see a long distance from there as you have already climbed a few. The temple premise is mainly having two temples. Each of those are having two small compartments are joined together (considered as single one). Left side temple is the Shiv Mandir and the right side temple is Chondi Mandir.

Mathurapur Deul, located at the Madhukhali Thana of the Faridpur district. Local people used to call this as Deul. If you wish to visit the Deul, you have to reach the Madhukhali Thana.

This Deul is around 90 feet tall, and with highly ornate terracotta at the wall of it. The outer side wall of the Deul is comprises with some small "murti"(statue) using mud. It’s not far from the Deul; you'll find a river named "Chandana". If you want you will visit the river side.

মাথুরাপুর মন্দিরকে স্থানীয়রা বলে থাকেন দেউল। দেউলটি দেখতে চাইলে আপনাকে মধুখালী থানায় পৌছাতে হবে। দেয়ালে টেরাকোটার কাজ করা এই দেউলটি উচ্চতা প্রায় ৯০ ফুট। দেউলের বাইরের দেয়ালের গায়ে কাদা দিয়ে তৈরি কিছু মূর্তি খচিত আছে। চন্দনা নদী দেউলের খুব কাছেই অবস্থিত। চাইলে আপনিও নদীর তীর থেকে ঘুরে আসতে পারেন।

Autshahi Moth (আউটশাহী মঠ) is a spiritually very prominent Hindu Religious structure among the local community. Local Hindu people has a strong belief and they always practice some rituals centering two temple, built at the base of Moth. Two temples containing distinguished deities. One is occupied by Devi Durga and another one is a fusion between Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati.

It is About 300 Years Old an island stylistic Moth,Beside Autshahi Radha Nath High School at Chander Bazar, Autshahee, Tongibari, Munshiganj. If someone wants to reach there at the temple, then there is no other options except the subway of wooden bridge which connects this feature with the highway.

In the early 18th century Bijoyram Kor built this temple covering his mother's tomb. Struck by different natural calamities, this temple lost its surrounding parts, even it gets curve leaving shape on its exterior.
