Foy’s Lake Amusement World is a theme park located in the heart of Chittagong, in Foy’s Lake. Amusement World is located in the same complex as Sea World and Foy’s Lake Resorts. The Foy’s Lake theme parks are located in a picturesque setting surrounded by hills, a lake and green forests located in Pahartoli, Chittagong on approximately 320 Acres of land. Chittagong is a major port city of Bangladesh located south of Dhaka with good transport links from the capital. [post_content] => Sir J.C. Bose Complex located at Rarikhal, Dhaka-Dohar Highway, Sreenagar, Munshiganj. Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose (30 November 1858 – 23 November 1937) was a Bengali polymath, physicist, biologist, botanist, archaeologist, as well as an early writer of
science fiction. He pioneered the investigation of radio and microwave optics, made very significant contributions to plant science, and laid the foundations of experimental science in the Indian subcontinent. He is sometimes considered the father of Bengali science fiction.
Born in Mymensingh- "Bengal Presidency" during the British Raj that means the Bikrampur (now in Munshiganj, Dhaka). His early life was started in Kolkata, but his paternal house is still there in
Rarikhal, Sreenagar, Munshiganj.
Now, his birthplace has turned into a park like memorial complex. We've found this place as a perfect place for day out with your family but not for any science awareness school visit.

[post_content] => {:en}Lawachhara National Park (Bengali: লাউয়াছড়া) is a major national park and nature reserve in Bangladesh. The park is located at Kamalganj Upazila, Moulvibazar District in the northeastern region of the country. It is located within the 2,740 ha (27.4 km2) West Bhanugach Reserved Forest. Lawachhara was one of the filming sites of the 1956 movie Around the World in 80 Days.
Lawachhara National Park covers approximately 1,250 ha (12.5 km2) of semi-evergreen forests of the Tropical and subtropical coniferous forests Biome and mixed deciduous forests of the Tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests Biome. The land was declared a national park by the Bangladesh government on July 7, 1996 under the Wildlife Act of 1974.
The terrain of Lawachhara is undulating with scattered 10 to 50 m (33 to 164 ft.) hillocks. Locally known as tila, the hillocks are primarily composed of Upper Tertiary soft sandstone. The park is crossed by numerous sandy-bedded streams (locally known as nallah), one of which is the Lawachhara tributary, from which the park derived its name. The soil of Lawachhara is alluvial brown sandy clay loam to clay loam dating from the Pliocene epoch. Shallow depressions filled with water (Haor wetlands) are also a feature of the region as the low-lying areas are often subject to flooding.
The climate of Lawachhara is generally pleasant to warm, averaging at 26.8 °C (80.2 °F) in February to 36.1 °C (97.0 °F) in June. The humidity is high throughout the year, and Lawachhara experiences frequent rains with occasional cyclonic storms.{:}{:bn}লাউয়াছড়া জাতীয় উদ্যান বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম প্রধান জাতীয় উদ্যান। এই উদ্যানটি উত্তরপূর্ব বাংলাদেশের মৌলভীবাজার জেলার কমলগঞ্জ উপজেলায় অবস্থিত। শ্রীমঙ্গল থেকে এই স্থানটির দূরত্ব ৯.৪ কিলোমিটার। ঘন সবুজ জঙ্গলে পরিপূর্ণ ১২.৫ কিলোমিটার আয়তনের লাউয়াছড়া জাতীয় উদ্যানটি পশ্চিম ভানুগাছ রিজার্ভ ফরেস্টের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। বাংলাদেশের সর্ববৃহৎ এই রেইন ফরেস্টে রয়েছে প্রায় ৪৬০ প্রজাতির জীব বৈচিত্র্য যেসবের মধ্যে রয়েছে ১৬৭ প্রজাতির গাছ, ৪ প্রজাতির উভচর প্রাণী, ৬ প্রজাতির সরীসৃপ প্রাণী, ২০ প্রজাতির স্তন্যপায়ী প্রাণী এবং ২৪৬ প্রজাতির পাখি। ১৯৭৪ সালের বন্যপ্রাণী আইনের অধীনে বাংলাদেশ সরকার ১৯৯৬ সালের ৭ই জুলাই এই উদ্যানটিকে জাতীয় উদ্যান হিসেবে ঘোষণা করে।{:}

Dreamland is the most prominent park of Gaibandha district. It is located at Palashbari Upazila. A businessman, Nuronnobi Chan Mia built this park. People from different districts come here to visit this park. Different species of trees are planted here. For children many kinds of funny sculpture(ভাস্কর্য) are also available here . Here you can see a lot of sculptures of great person around the world. Besides,the sculptures of our national heroes are also built here. Among them AK Fazlul Hoque, Hossain Shaheed Sahrawardy (হুসাইন শহীদ সোহরাওয়ার্দী), Mawlana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani, Bangabandho Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Ziaur Rahman, Bangabir M.A.G. Osmani (বঙ্গবীর এম. এ. জি. ওসমানী), Tajuddin Ahmed, Nazrul Islam, Munsur ali, kamrujjaman etc are notable.
Here you can see stunning sculpture of Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Begum Rokeya, Michael Madhusudan Datta (মাইকেল মধুসুদন দত্ত) etc. You may also see the sculptures of great scientist, Such as Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose (স্যার জগদীশ চন্দ্র বসু), John Beard (জন বেয়ার্ড), Michael Faraday (মাইকেল ফ্যারাডে), Alexander Graham Bell (আলেকজাণ্ডার গ্রাহায়েম বেল), Marconi (মার্কনী). Eid, Puja, Pahela Boishakh, Independence day, Victory Day and in other different festivals, many people gather in this place.
