Baklai Waterfall is possibly the tallest waterfall of Bangladesh. It has a height of around 380 feet. It is located near at the village Baklai, a village which is deep inside the Bandarban hills. To visit this waterfall, you need to have 5-7 days on hand based on your performance on the trek. It is accessible both from Thanchi and Ruma.
10/12 years back a group of enthusiastic travelers have traveled inside Bandarban and scoured the hills of Bandarban for more than a month. During that visit they discovered this Baklai waterfall from the top. They didn't watch it from the front/base. So they were not aware about the height of the waterfall.
Later on, DWay Expeditors have traveled a place near to the waterfall and only hearing the sound. Hearing the immense roaring sound of the waterfall from far couldn't refrain them to discover what it is actually which they later found out to be the massive Baklai Waterfall. And thus the waterfall came to the common knowledge of the public. Even today, very few travelers visit this waterfall due to the lack of awareness.

বাকলাই ঝর্ণা সম্ভবত দেশের সবচেয়ে উঁচু ঝর্ণা। বান্দরবানের পাহাড়ের গভীরে বাকলাই গ্রামে অবস্থিত এই ঝর্ণাটি প্রায় ৩৮০ ফুট উঁচু। এই ঝর্ণাটি দেখতে চাইলে আপনাকে হাতে পাঁচ থেকে সাতদিন রাখতে হবে। তবে আপনি কতটা হাঁটতে পারেন তাঁর উপর নির্ভর করছে এখানে আসতে কতদিন লাগতে পারে। থানচি এবং রুমা থেকে আপনি এই ঝর্ণাটি দেখতে আসতে পারবেন।
দশ থেকে বারো বছর পূর্বে একদল সাহসী পর্যটক বান্দরবানের গভীরে ভ্রমণ করতে যায় এবং প্রায় একমাসের অধিক সময় বান্দরবানের পাহাড় খনন করে। এই ভ্রমনের সময় তারা বাকলাই ঝর্ণাটি উপর থেকে আবিষ্কার করে। যেহেতো তারা ঝর্ণাটি সামনে থেকে দেখেনি তাই এটির উচ্চতা সম্পর্কে তারা অবগত ছিল না।
পরবর্তীতে আরেক দল অভিযাত্রী ঝর্ণা কাছে একটি স্থানে যায় এবং ঝর্ণার পানি পরার শব্দ শুনতে পায়। ঝর্ণার পানি পরার প্রচণ্ড শব্দ শুনে তারা শব্দের উৎস আবিষ্কারের জন্য অগ্রসর হয় এবং বাকলাই ঝর্ণাটি আবিষ্কার করে। আর এভাবেই সবার সামনে চলে আসে বাকলাই ঝর্ণা। এমনকি আজও খুব কম পর্যটকই ঝর্ণাটি দেখতে যান।

In Bangladesh, most of the people used to visit Porikunda Waterfall during the dry season, and they found this is of much interesting place for visiting. Few people know about Porikunda Waterfall. However, those who already have visited the Madhabkunda waterfall and still do not know that there is another waterfall inside the "Madhabkunda Echo Park". Porikunda falls is just before the Madhabkunda falls.
However, it is inside in the Eco Park towards the Madhabkunda falls, which is why people do not get it. During dry season, this falls used to keep dormant which can be another reason and it is only alive during Monsoon. Although the height is around 150 meter, Porikunda falls looks much taller because of gradual steepness from bottom to top. The depth of water is not that much great, but it used to spread its water over the stones when falling down.
If you find it difficult to locate the Porikunda falls, just ask someone who works inside the echo park. They will show you the path. You have to walk through the infertile path over the stream of the waterfalls. Also you cannot skip to get your dresses are wet. Finally be careful, because any moment you can get slipped, and get yourself hurt.
Some people think, this waterfall is more beautiful from the main one, the Madhabkunda falls for its silence (except drops of water). People don't used to come there (because they don't know). No chaos from the other tourists (which is available near the Madhabkunda falls). Porikunda falls is much taller, and the amount of water is not that much great, but it used to spread its water over the stones when falling down. And that just gave an outstanding beauty to the waterfalls.
{:}{:bn}পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণা মৌলভীবাজার জেলার বড়লেখা উপজেলায় মাধবকুণ্ড জলপ্রপাতের নিকটে অবস্থিত। যারা ইতিমধ্যেই মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাত দেখতে গিয়েছেন তাদের অনেকেরই জানা নেই যে মাধবকুণ্ড ইকো পার্কের অভ্যন্তরে আরেকটি ঝর্ণা রয়েছে। মাধবকুণ্ড জলপ্রপাতের ঠিক আগেই অবস্থিত পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণাটি তাই অনেকের কাছেই অচেনা। বর্ষাকাল ছাড়া অন্যান্য মৌসুমে এই ঝর্ণাটি শুকিয়ে যায়।
পরিকুণ্ড ঝর্ণা খুঁজে পেতে অসুবিধা হলে পার্কের অভ্যন্তরে কাউকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তারাই আপনাকে পথ চিনিয়ে দেবে। এই ঝর্ণায় পৌছাতে হলে আপনাকে প্রবাহিত পানির ওপর দিয়ে অমসৃণ পথে হাঁটতে হবে তাই এসময় আপনার জামা কাপড় ভিজতে বাধ্য। এছাড়া পিচ্ছিল পথে চলার সময় আপনাকে সাবধানে পা ফেলতে হবে অন্যথায় যেকোন মুহূর্তে পিছলে পড়ে আপনি আঘাত পেতে পারেন।
অনেকে মনে করেন যে এখানকার নীরবতার কারনে এই ঝর্ণাটি মাধবকুণ্ডের মূল জলপ্রপাতের চেয়ে বেশি সুন্দর। অজ্ঞতার কারনে এখানে মানুষজন খুব একটা না আশায় এই নীরবতা বজায় থাকে (মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাতটি পর্যটকদের ভিড়ে পরিপূর্ণ থাকে)। প্রায় ১৫০ মিটার উঁচু এই ঝর্ণাটি নীচ থেকে উপরে বেশ খাড়া হওয়ায় এটিকে মাধবকুণ্ডের জলপ্রপাতের চাইতে উঁচু মনে হয়। এই ঝর্ণায় পানির পরিমান ও গভীরতা কম হলেও পাথরের ওপর পানি পরার পর অনেক দূর পর্যন্ত ছড়িয়ে যায় আর এ কারনেই এই ঝর্ণার সৌন্দর্য বহুগুন বেড়ে যায়।{:}

Hum Hum Waterfall is situated in Razkandi reserve forest in Moulvibazar District. It was discovered in 2009. It is actually a place where you can find the real taste of adventure. The height of the fall is about 135-160 feet. It would be the best to travel this place in rainy season to discover the unlimited beauty of the fall. It is a matter of wonder that most of the Bangladeshi people do not even know about the fall. You can go throw bus or train from Dhaka to Sreemangal. You can find some hotels there. The next step is to go kolabagan bosti. For going to kolabagan bosti, you need to hire a jeep.
The most important thing is you need to start your journey early in the morning about 5-6 am. Carrying Knife, torch, dry food, fresh water, saline, glucose, and fast aid is a must for everyone. Now a days, there are a lot of guides available who can help the tourists to reach Hum Hum. Take some bamboo sticks as a support for you to from kolabagan which will really helpful in the whole journey. Since starting to walk through this for about 30 minutes, the tourist will have to get down in a natural fountain (locally called chhara or nala), where the tourist will have to walk through water. The height of this water level will vary from ankle to thigh level time to time.
{:}{:bn}হামহাম ঝর্ণাটি মৌলভীবাজারের কমলগঞ্জে অবস্থিত। মৌলভীবাজারের রাজকান্দি রিজার্ভ ফরেস্টে অবস্থিত হামাহাম ঝর্ণাটি ২০১০ সালে আবিষ্কৃত হয়। এই ঝর্ণাটির উচ্চতা প্রায় ১৪৭ ফুট থেকে ১৬০ ফুট। স্থানীয়দের পাশাপাশি মিডিয়াতেও ঝর্ণাটির নামের বানান হামহাম বলে উচ্চারিত হলেও প্রকৃতপক্ষে ঝর্ণাটির নামের বানান হলো হুমহুম।{:}

This waterfall is known as Chhoto Darogar Hat Waterfall (ছোট দারোগার হাট ঝরনা), also known as Shohosro Dhara Waterfall-2 (সহস্র ধারা ঝরনা-২) as an irrigation project (the same name) was built using the water from the falls. Shohosro Dhara Waterfall-1 (সহস্র ধারা ঝরনা-১) is located inside the Sitakunda সীতাকুন্ড) Echo Park.
It is very easy village path for trekking and having lot of trees at both sides for the shades. It is around half an hour of walking to reach near a water dam named Shohosro Dhara (সহস্র ধারা) Irrigation Project. It uses to barrier the water from the waterfall.
The waterfall was very near from the irrigation project dam. You may not find the path to visit the top of the waterfall. You may find a view of another waterfall from that road and according to the local people, it may be very tough to access.
It is basically a tall but slim waterfall having very less amount of water during any season. It use to have water in a large amount (but not violent) only during the rainy days. As soon as the rain is gone, the waterfall starts to get less flow of water.

ছোট দারোগার হাট ঝর্ণাটি সহস্র ধারা ঝরনা-২ নামেও পরিচিত। এই ঝর্ণার পানি একটি সেচ প্রকল্পে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। সহস্র ধারা-১ ঝর্ণাটি সীতাকুণ্ড ইকো পার্কের অভ্যন্তরে অবস্থিত।
এই ঝর্ণায় পৌঁছানোর পথে আশেপাশে প্রচুর গাছ থাকায় ছায়ার মধ্যে দিয়ে আপনি সহজেই পায়ে হেঁটে এখানে আসতে পারবেন। সহস্র ধারা সেচ প্রকল্পের বাঁধের কাছে পায়ে হেঁটে পৌছাতে প্রায় আধ ঘণ্টা সময় লাগবে আপনার। ঝর্ণার পানি আটকে রাখতে এই বাঁধটি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।
সেচ প্রকল্পের বাঁধের খুব কাছেই এই ঝর্ণাটি অবস্থিত। তবে, ঝর্ণার উপরে পৌছানো আপনার পক্ষে সম্ভব নাও হতে পারে। তবে এই ঝর্ণার কাছে যাওয়ার পথে আপনার অন্য একটি ঝর্ণার দেখা মিলতে পারে। স্থানীয়দের মতে ঐ ঝর্ণার কাছে পৌঁছানো মোটেও সহজ হবে না।
ছোট দারোগার হাট ঝর্ণাটি মূলত একটি চিকন এবং লম্বা ঝর্ণা। এই ঝর্ণায় কোন মৌসুমেই পানি প্রবাহ খুব একটা দেখা যায় না। শুধুমাত্র বর্ষাকালে এই ঝর্ণার পানির প্রবাহ কিছুটা বেড়ে যায়। তবে, বর্ষাকাল শেষ হওয়া মাত্রই ঝর্ণায় পানির প্রবাহ আবারো কমে যায়।
